Yam wanted Holly by Golly, and I ended up with about 10 photos of Holly.
While playing with the vase of holly, I noticed the sun on my Christmas leggins
Then I saw my shadow and thought Wow, look how thin I look
Then I noticed my shadow was attached to my socks...you know the rest of the story.

I received an email from health insurance, Medicare Advantage plan,
It said you are in the age group to be chosen for first shot at the shot for Covid-19.
We will notify you where to go, and when and there will be no charge for it!
I got all excited!!!
No charge! we are First! YAY!
Then I realized I am OLD, I am at risk! they are giving this to us first because we will be the most likely to DIE!
Next I thought get with sharing these amazing photos of leggins, shadows and socks.
get them out there, before they put me in a box.

Love the holly berries, a pretty pop of color. The leggings and shadow shots are cute. My hubby is looking forward to getting the vaccine shot. Our insurance should pay for it! Take care, enjoy your day!

I like the holly and those leggings are really cute. That's about how I looked on Christmas day. I had my leggings on with big fuzzy socks. I should have taken a bunch of pictures too.

That's exciting, your getting that letter about the vaccine. Tom had a robo-call from the V.A. about 3 weeks back, basically saying the same thing. But now, nuthin. Wish there was someplace to call and get an ETA, you know? I don't think my primary even knows all the details; and she's probably getting flooded with calls already.
I was thinking how FAT my legs look in my Christmas leggings; maybe I need to do a shadow shot. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Yay for holly that leads to leggings and shadows...
Over here, frontline staff, then those over 80 are getting first jabs... now there is an argument whether they should be getting their second jab, or whether those valuable doses ought to be going as first jabs to the next group, the 60-79-year-olds (because there are just not enough doses and the boast is that by the end of 2021 as many as half the population will have been done. Half.)
I will not take the vaccine. Being prone to allergic reactions I just can't risk it. When I had the Yellow Fever scrape, I ended up with a dose of the disease, same with Typhoid... and it is the anti-malarial we were given in Africa that is cited as the source for triggering life-long arthritis. So no, I won't - but that doesn't mean I am against vaccines in general. It's just that I am part of the percentage of proof that 'one size does not fit all'! YAM xx

I love leggings! I Have them for all the holidays and lots of solid colors too. I wear them all the time. I love those Christmas ones you have, that pattern is very cool. I Know two people who received the vaccine. My friend who is A RT and came off a tough GYN surgery. She had her shot and said she felt fine. My niece also a health care worker had it. She seems to be doing great. Both are in their 40's. I am leery of it because the pneumococcal pneumonia nearly killed me. I always did ok with the flu shot but I have a VP Shunt so I have to be careful and can not have stuff that makes me retain fluid. which is why I have the shunt to begin with. Satchel Paige said Age is a case of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it don't matter.
