My husband has never heard of a Charlie Brown tree, did not know who Charlie Brown is, never heard of Linus. He also doesn't know who Pooh is, or Tigger or Eyeore…

Your Charlie tree needs the blanket to complete the Linus effect. I love that you chose a classic story tree. If Bob likes movies he may enjoy the current version of Christopher Robin movie as it is really suitable for adults. Not sure if he’d watch a Charlie Brown Christmas but it is around each year.
I've always been partial towards "Charlie Brown trees" ...even when they weren't in vogue. The homelier the better, as far as I was concerned!

What a coincidence! Yesterday on the computer I saw all kinds of ads for Charlie Brown trees! I don't remember them being sold ever before. Apparently they are the rage now, especially for people who live in a small space. WITH the blanket is more beautiful, so the wood doesn't show. The first picture is beautiful! At first I thought the floor had reflections, but they are lights! I love the one Snoopy ball, the reflection in the mirror, EVERYTHING about it!! Maybe I will get one! We do not have the big tree up because of Simba. Details!!! WHERE, and how much???? Also, it looks REAL, I cannot tell.
LOL we need to band together to get Bob a selection of books so that he can learn all this valuable information. I love your tree!!

I suppose a Charlie Brown Tree could escape the world of a man in his 80s but the whole Charlie Brown scene--I am shocked. Although I confess to knowing some of the Pooh characters but have never read or seen the stories.

In December here it is rare to turn on the TV and not see a preview of the Charlie Brown Christmas movie. My hubby loved the movie and watched it every time it was on TV. Hugs
