It was an informative meeting and when she asked for questions, I said I am doing all of the things you said we should, but I am hungry all the time.... after a few questions about how much meat I eat... NONE is the answer, or close to it.. I have never been a meat eater other than a burger or ham or bacon..once in a while. Pasta and all things white flour was my go to food.
Diagnosis? Not Enough Protein....she suggested Hummas and suggested Richards Foodporium for help.
I have never eaten Hummas in my life and had to look it up to find out what it was.
(Hummus is a Levantine dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas or other beans, blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic)
The personal service from a kind young woman who is vegan, helped me so much. I am now hooked on this HUMMAS... it is made locally, non GMO and no preservatives and fresh daily. One container is only 3.00 and last about a week, I buy two and go back every 10 days. It would cost more to buy a blender and all the ingredients. My hunger is gone, eating HUMMAS and Plain LowFat Greek Yougurt and lots of bean dishes, and a few eggs with cheese and I am losing 1 to 3 pounds a week. I did try Banza pasta, made from gabanza bean flour, but was not impressed. Bob refused to eat it. He is losing weight also from the way I am cooking. He came in from the workshop and said Watch This ad held his arms up over his head and his shorts dropped to the floor. To Big.. NOPE! no photos..
