WILL YOU TURN THAT FLASHING CONTRAPTION OFF? can't we get a little privacy here?
MadSnapper Trivia, short and sweet today.
I LOVE LIZARD WATCHING and for those of you wondering, yes, I do name the lizards.
SAD STORY THOUGH. the caterpillars and chrysalis are GONE! I almost cried Tuesday morning and thought rats might have been the culprit. but guess who the culprit is?
Seriously, I caught this big guy hunting..... seems Brown Anoles eat anything living that will fit in their mouth. including Chrysalis and their own skin that they shed. The food chain allows for all this, so no worries.

Super photography and a great love story.
Great shots...
I do not like lizards very much...it gives me the cripples....
But they are "doing it" are they not??? ha-ha-ha......
You are funny....
Thank you.
Isabel
Atta boy Leonard! We're glad to find someone else who gives names to every single creature they come across! We just have Vernon the Vole at the moment... Deccy x
i like good love stories!
your photos are beyond BEAUTIFUL!!!
excellent post! you're beautifully documenting all this.
Well looks like Leon is going to have to find a new girlfriend. You got some really great photos of those guys.
Sorry to hear they are the culprits but as you said that is nature.
They are really cool friends you have in your yard! Great names too!
Now I call that being in the right place at the right time! He may be a bit of an exibitionist and likes having his "moment" photographed...
:-) Her....? Not so much... Looks like she is saying, "it's HER again....! :-)
Love you, Madeline
Great shots! We have a few lizards, but they are too fast for me.
Who would have thought the lizard ate them! Good shots this morning.
well, at least you know it wasn't a rat.
You my, may I say I don't care for those things?
I know, they are all part of Nature. But.... Ughhhhhhhhh...
When we were in FL for 3 months, those tiny ones used to make me shudder.
Yeah, I'm a wimp. LOL

you are too funny! great shots of the Romeo and Juliet story! still giggling here!
I thought for sure it was rats, but lizards?? I had no idea!
So sorry the chyrsalis and the cattepillars are gone.
Love among the lizards! Wonderful captures of nature at its best and perhaps not its best, but then lizards have to eat too.
LOL this reminded me of the song by Captain and Tonelle, Muskrat Love.
LOL.
I probably should have mentioned on the blog that the lovely table setting was done by my hubby for our 41st anniversary on Feb 14. He had it waiting from me when I came home from work. He probably would not want the world to know...but let me just say it was beautiful.
The china was his Mom's.

I'm sad for your loss - a selfish reason. I wanted to see the butterflies emerge. :)
Nice photos don't see many lizards in the UK

Well, Sandra Holmes, some good detective work there, finding out Who Did It! Love that last photo! :)
Oh, I am so disappointed...I was so looking forward to you recording the rest of their story.
Oh - nice lizards [if you can say that?] How cool that you name them all. Lovely photos ^_^
Have a great day!

These pictures are amazing. You really got some excellent shots!
Hand clasped over mouth in shock...chuckle chuckle. You go Leonard!
Bummer on the catepillars...I probably would have cried!!
Leonard and leon, the competition is getting intense. Lizzie must be in Romantic convulsions. LOL
Well I guess love is grand even if you're a lizard....lol
Your shots are great. Too bad about the chrysalis being lizard lunch
You sure do have a lot of different looking lizards around your place! They are neat looking!
Great captures, Sandra. I don't know what kinds of lizards they are. We had some rainbow skinks at the baseball field this year. When it was really hot, they would come out looking for water. I'd poor water on the concrete and they'd run to drink it before it soaked up. :)
THese are some pretty cool shots! Love the one of the two maters looking at you.
LOL! Too too funny!
You make me smile. :)

Fantastic shots! I am not very fond of lizards though- walking snakes if you ask me.
