Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself...
~Norman Wesley Brooks, "Let Every Day Be Christmas," 1976
Christmas candle is a lovely thing;
It makes no noise at all,
But softly gives itself away.
~Eva Logue
Two little candles, blowing in the wind,
Laughing together, friend to friend,
Each one basking in the other's light,
Each one welcoming the warmth of night,
Each one swaying with nothing to hide,
Dancing together, side by side.
- Julie Redstone
May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace,
The gladness of Christmas give you hope,
The warmth of Christmas grant you love.
~Author Unknown
I have shown you in every way by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Beautiful candle pictures!
Magical pictures and perfect quotes.
Sunny :)
Very pretty, indeed.
The quotes are great and the message is fabulous. BUT I love the 'goodies' in your 'nook'.... Great pictures and the lighting is perfect... I too love candles, Sandra.
Thanks for the 'funny' also.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love the candles, their flames play tricks with glass. Great blog.
I love your quotes, but I also love the little peek you've given us in your nook. It looks so beautiful and inviting. So sparkly and pretty. And I want to see more than just a bit of the pretty little tree.
i will give you a peek ginny of the tree, it is coming soon
I love all the pretties in your nook area, the candles are beautiful and give just the right amount of light.
I love all of the quotes and they are perfect for the season but the last line cracked me up.
