This pink hibicus is my favorite, because it is a weed and grows wild, it grows up about 20 feet in the air and becomes a very large umbrella with the flowers at the tips of the droopy limbs
We have 3 large ones and bought none of them, 2 are rooted from one we found here half dead when we bought the house 20 years ago.
They are drought resistant, cold hardy and just sit and grow with no assistance needed. Sunny I have never tried making tea with them, but have read we could if we wanted to.
Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made and forgot to put a soul to.
- Henry Ward Beckford (1759-1844)I was not looking now at an unusual flower arrangement. I was seeing
what Adam had seen on the morning of his creation - the miracle, moment by moment, of naked existence.
- Aldous Huxley
This is the last of the hibicus post unless I get a new one I have to pass on, these are from my archives, we only have a couple of blooms on each bush now due to the drought and the cold from winter past.

I love that shade of pink - and the flower, too!
Breathtaking blossoms, simply lovely.

Beautiful. Jimmie particularly loves hibiscus - wish we could grow them here. We'd have to bring them in during winter & really have no place for them. Y'all have such green thumbs.
These are amazing!! The center is just awesome. It makes me wonder what kind of goodies you have hiding in your archives!! Now I must go to the garden center and try to buy one!!
I can't imagine calling a beautiful flower as this "weed"! ;)
This hibiscus is absolutely beautiful. I think it is my favorite as well. I hope all of your plants bounce back and are loaded with blooms next year.
Yes it really is pretty in pink, adorable. All the photos are great but i especially like the first one with gorgeous flowers found the way throught the wooden fence. Lovely, indeed!
Is there anything more beautiful than a flower in it's natural state? I do love plucking them and bringing them inside too.
Lovely photographs!
Best,
Bonnie
These are so beautiful, and cheered me up immensely. Thanks for the pick-me-up Sandra!
The pinks are of course gorgeous too. I find it difficult to choose they are all so beautiful! My dad had many growing tall just like these bordering his property. I don't know what happen..maybe other trees but he doesn't have many left like back in the day. I found them just gorgeous and graceful. Another lovely series..

Wow, I think the pink is my favorite. I love the dark on light color contrast of this flower. You know until I started taking so many photos of flowers(and seeing others post them) I did not like pink. Now I love it.
Wow---that is the prettiest Hybiscus bloom I think I have EVER seen. How Gorgeous!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
