What is it? = ) Just kidding! I recently read a book--a detective story--that was written in the early 1970s. I found it very irritating that there were no cell phones and the main character had to keep stopping at pay phones. And, there were no handy computers. I'm a victim of CSI, NCIS, etc.
I love your new header! That quote is real insightful, and I never thought of youth and old age that way before!! Gosh, I will be mulling this over all day!!
we actually still have those in our town... but then again we kind of cling to the dark ages. lol...
I don't own a cell phone. I refuse. I used to have one and it turned out everybody expected me to answer it every time it rings. But for some reason those same people are just happy with me not always answering my home phone. People are weird, eh? lol
Beth here....oh that brought back memories! I hadn't thought of a pay phone for so long! I remember going into the little booths to call someone. Those were the days, my friend!
That is a rare sight. I know of one old phone booth here in town, it's in the lobby of our local post office. They seem so out of place these days, I should get a photo of it before it disappears. I really love my cell phone!
Hi Sandra, I love Brad Paisley.... He's such a neat guy, and a great singer.
Love that bench.... Don't think I have ever seen a prettier one!!!!! I could rest on there for a LONG time.. I need a vacation to get over the vacation.. ha
I remember pay phones... Gee--how times have changed... I find myself --as I get older---wanting technology to slow down a little. I miss so many things in the past... Guess that is normal as we age.
