I am crippled by the below featured machine. Yesterday, I left the sofa, walked to the table the laptop resides on when charging. Sat it down, shut it down (yes properly) and went I went to
I howled (as good a word as allowed on a public blog) and said
“oh well, I don’t use the top of my thumb anyway."
WRONG, half hour later, I went to trim my bangs and tried to slide the thumb into the round thingy that holds the thumb on the scissors (what is that called?). Yet another HOWL! resulting in the need of a band aid.
This thing just looks innocent....
IF you don’t believe me, ask Jake (he is the one you see jumping on the side bar). Two days ago, he was
I told you at the begining to Beware of your laptop....
MY final suggestion is USE YOUR DESK TOP, I don't THINK it can hurt you. Mine hasn't YET

So sorry your laptop isn't behaving. You have to treat them gently, you know... Mine have never physically hurt me; we just argue now and then! Never regretted for a moment that I replaced the old (dead) desktop with a new laptop.
So sorry to hear that.
Actually I couldn't even think about that.
Thanks for the tip.
Happy weekend!
Betty
LOL! Sounds like a comedy of errors to me. Funny. I sure miss having a laptop. One of these days. Right after I buy a new camera and a kindle.
Wow you've got a pretty viscous laptop there. So far mine hasn't attacked me or the dog but I will be on guard just in case it turn on me.
Poor Sandra and Jake, being attacked by your laptop! That's just too funny! I'm not laughing at you Sandra, just with you. :-)!!!!
Now I'm happy that I don't own a laptop. LOL
So your lap top has turned vicious, huh? So far mine has been on good behavior I guess. I will be on the look out. I have no four-legged babies here to defend me.... :-)
Oh you poor baby... Shame on that laptop for hurting my friend--and her baby..... Of course, if the truth be told, my MAC laptop is laughing ---telling me that you need to get a MAC. Mine says that he doesn't treat people (and dogs) like that!!!!!! ha ha ha
Have a great day --and behave yourself.
Hugs,
Betsy
Yes Madsnapper, and the very young must be very very careful. Danger lurks every where. Just getting out of bed to quickly could be disastrous. he he he he
Awww, bet that really did hurt. A hug for Sandra and a good rub for Jake. I appreciate the warning and will remember that if I ever get a laptop.
Oh poor Jake!
Oh poor YOU!
Bad Laptop for hurting you two!
Maybe it's just crying out for more attention?
They say most accidents happen in the home and you and Jake are living proof! Hope both of you are o.k. for now.
Best,
Bonnie
I'm sorry, i know it hurt him, but I can't help laughing at you closing the laptop on his tail!! That would have been perfect for "America's Funniest Home Videos"! I hope you gave him a treat and apologized. Perhaps a nice T-Bone? Medium rare with a side of HP. Oh, but i AM so sorry about your thumb!!! I do that kind of thing all the time, including the infamous E.R. visit for an injury putting on my underpants. I am not careless, just clumsy, and I think you may be, too! The Klutz Sisters. My laptop has been behaving itself, except for a few trips over the charging cord. I was planning on going to a quilt museum and gift shop today, but they don't allow picture taking, so I'm not going. I need to find some other kind of trouble to get into.
I am sorry but I do the same thing. Hub sits next to me and he has a wood board under his!! (I have a bood) I've told him..but he won't listen! I hit my wrist or something once in awhile..but haven't done what you did- though I'm not graceful. But your dog's tail? (smile~sigh)
I can't help but think that I'm glad I don't own a laptop!
That naughty laptop - hope your thumb is much better today and thanks for the warning. sandie
Goodness, that sounds like a really dangerous laptop. Maybe they should start putting warning labels on those things! So far mine hasn't injured me but I've had some close calls like the time it almost fell on my toe.
But beware, desk tops can bite. I lost a little skin changing out an internal drive one time.
Poor puppy... and your poor fingers. I find it much harder to navigate things with my mom's laptop than either of my desktops... one Mac, one PC.
