I said "Bob, I need photos of Chaos for My Town Shoot Out on Friday"
Bob said "WHAT"
I said "Chaos, you know, disorder, no organazation, utter confusion"
Bob said "I need heat shrink wrap"
I said "PERFECT, lets go!"
In a few short minutes we were strolling through the Red Barn Flea Market, headed for Chaos (sorry you have to come back tomorrow to see it)
On the way to Chaos, we saw lots of color every where! (are you jealous that oranges are 5 for dollar?)
*What's bright orange and sounds like a parrot?-A carrot
Red !
Red who ?
Red peppers.
Isn't that a hot one ! (sorrryyyy)

Certainly a very colourful post. Are the cactus leaves for planting? Anyhow I'd suggest picking them up CAREFULLY... ;) Looking forward to your chaos tomorrow!
You saw lots on interesting things on your way to Chaos, looking forward to the rest of the story.
The cactus pads are for eating, yum! I've seen them often in Mexico and sometimes our stores here have them. I like it in salads or grilled.
Boo on the joke!!!!! Five oranges for a dollar? Love all the color.
Best,
Bonnie
Loved your pretty colorful walk through the market. Beautiful day!
this is one beautiful place to be called chaos.
Hi Sandra,
Thank you very much for all your never ending support and encouragement. You are a star.
Wishing you the best,
Dave
Just what I need a little more chaos in my life! Guess I'll have to check it out tomorrow :)
Love all the bright colors in your post.

Thanks for taking me shopping with you today. I am dragging this morning and this shot of colors is great. Really, five for a dollar? The cactus looks pretty much like the picture I took of one at the grocery store (of course!!) I am going to do a post on it, it was aloe. I know that is for burns, but maybe there is something else you can do with it, too.
I love the box of brushes.... such bright colors!!
Chaos?! Looking for chaos?! Just a look at our kitchen after Dad cooks... now, that is chaos.
Your Chaos was great - but if you come to my house you'll see some real chaos! lol

Yes, I'm jealous of your 5 for $1.00 oranges. Didn't know about eating cactus the way Squirrel Queen mentioned, but i have had some delicious prickly pear cactus jelly on toast. The treat was provided by a ranger during a hike she led in Chisos Basin area of Big Bend National Park.
That's it -- I am on my way to your house! I can't believe all of that is going on and I can't even see a flower yet!
I think you could find just about anything at an open market..colorful and looks tasty though. I love hot peppers and use to grow tons of different kinds. What did you take home with you??
I still have NO idea how to cook or make/bake cactus.... Maybe i'll need to look it up???
Although i don't know what my hubby would think of that...
Thanks
Leontien
And yes we had some crazy birds fly against our window too! Thanks for the comment!
Well you found a lot of interesting things on the way to chaos. Pretty flowers, and boxes of color. Can't wait to see what chaos looks like
What an explosive array of color.
You have captured a lot of color in these images. That's a sure way to brighten the day.
I thought you had enough chaos when you heard the shuttle boom and those brushes look like chaos, but I guess I'll have to check tomorrow for Phun Phriday chaos.
I have seen the same kind of cactus leaves in Kroger's (grocery store) produce department??? Next time I see the produce manager, I will ask him. I was curious about it too.
