These are all from the order of Circoniiformes, which include cranes and herons. I have not clue which these are, but TexWisGirl will tell you when she reads this. I took these when they first opened the preserve.
UPDATE: TexWisGirl came through with the names. Above and below is a Juvinile Night Heron.. that means he is a Teen Heron.
and above and below is a Reddish Egret...

Just love the Pic Monkey Fever with that lady sneaking a peek out of there!!!!!! And your new header is gorgeous!!!!!!!! Perfect for the month of October.I can imagine it was fun putting them all together. Yes, I would like to know what those birds are called. We will wait to hear from Tex-Wis. TGIF!
Great bird shots. I'm just getting into that genre.
Aaaarrrrghh! You scared me! I love those "spooky" shots of ruffled feathered birds--and you!
Best,
Bonnie

Some interesting looking birds...especially that last one with the camera!! ha! ha!
Interesting bird photography. Thanks for sharing.
boo to you too! :)
the first one is definitely a juvenile night-heron. by the long neck, i'd say a yellow-crowned night heron.
the second is a GORGEOUS reddish egret. MAN, i'd love to see one of those! SO beautiful!!!
I'm not sure what these birds are, either, but I know that these are marvelous photos.
Pretty birds! Boo to you too!
Beautiful photos, especially like the reflection in the water.
Beautiful shots! I LOVE herons!
Those are great shots. These are birds I have not yet seen.
Boo to you too!
Even with your laptop not working you manage to have a fun post.
I always enjoy coming here to see what's happening in Florida.
Such pretty birds...your shots are amazing!
I must visit that Preserve someday. Thanks to Tex for enlightening us. HAve a great weekend Sandra
These are excellent bird photos, Sandra... I just LOVE the one with the wet egret shaking his feathers...
The Reddish Egret looks a bit like it is having a bad hair day!
Great shots.

I have that same PicMonkey fever...hopefully it will not cost to much when they start charging...it will depend on how addicted I am if I stay with it. The egret is amazing...I could sit and bird watch all day. I get a kick out of the cranes around where I live...they are adapting to city living.
Really awsome shots! That TWGirl really is helpful isn't she?
The PicMonkey strikes yet again!
It looks like it might be a wee bit windy when you took that second shot of the Reddish Egret.
Great shots, I love the ones of the Reddish Egret.
