Color me NOT Your Average Female

On a really cold day, 68 out and 70 inside, I took my Kindle to the kitchen door and joined Jake for a warm up... I would look up every now and then to enjoy the view.
SUDDENLY... I realized I could See Me in the reflection of the sliding glass door.
You Know The Rest Of The Story..

this photo out of camera.. above and below photos are dodged, burned, sharpened and  PicMonkeyed

On The First Day of December, a few things to Remember..
About ME...
SHOPPING is a chore, a really big bore.
I dislike cards and gifts even more.
No games, no practical jokes, No talking on the phone, No parties or entertaining.
No traffic, no crowds, no waiting in line.
All of these make me crazy all of the time.
I forget birthdays, anniversaries (including mine) and all holidays.
No decorations, No cooking, No baking
Color Me Not Your Average Female

NOTE: to avoid hurt feelings,  this post is to advise you not to stand by the mailbox waiting for gift/card from the MadSnapper because I think I might have a few MALE genes in my blood.

You do make me smile Sandra. I am not a shopper either, and I am looking at Christmas cards that should have been mailed overseas ages ago. Oh well :)

You and my hubby would get along good.

He says humbug Christmas. Does not like shopping.
Does not like presents. He is right. We have everything .

I do not like shopping humbug. The kids are adults. So I give money Sid and I. And I do not use shopping on line.

I do like glitter . Cards, clothes. I am not mailing cards this year. I told others to not neither.
I did not put up christmas tree for years. Since my kids invite us over for Christmas. They have the trees decorations and the Meals, goodies for us to enjoy. I love Turkey, mashed potatoes. The old way of Christmas.

I do have a glitter plug in light basket in the entrance.

Christmas ornament of Mary, Joseph and Mary and baby Jesus standing on a buffet cabinet. Another angel standing on other cabinet.

The Reason for Christmas Is Jesus not all the presents.

This year no baking cookies like I did .

Like your blog.

Beautiful photos, I like the silver sparkles around your face. And viva la difference, the world would be a dull place indeed if we all had the same thoughts and reactions.

I've always been bad about remembering people's birthday/anniversaries and even worse at getting cards or gifts in the mail to them. I end up feeling a bit guilty when they send me something.
I guess I could be classified as not your average female too. I may do some of that stuff but not nearly as much as some do

Enjoyed the photos. I have to look at my calendar everyday to keep up with all the birthday's and anniversary's! It is exhausting.....

I am definitely not a shopper, nor a stander in line person...I just would not go to most events, concerts, happenings because I cannot stand all the waiting.

My idea of decorating is a wreath on the door. Which reminds me, I need to take down the sunflower one and put up the winter one. Or did I toss that last year and need a new one? I've been terrible about birthdays this year. I used to make cards for everyone, and even Christmas cards a few years until I came to my senses. Now I just blog, and wish friends a happy birthday on Facebook.
