The Day After Christmas with MadSnapper

Thank you to all my blogging friends for being here when I need you..
Our Christmas Fruitcake came in this tin. Each year for many years my brothers wife bakes and mails a fruitcake to us. My brother is very ill and still dealing with chemo aftermath. He is home and doing well, but is housebound and no one can visit for 3 months. He will be fine in time.

In all of this she BAKED.

The thing is the MAD-madsnapper... opened the door and picked up the box and said to Bob, Purtian sent what I ordered last week. Odd they did not send an  email saying it shipped. I placed it on the cabinet and left if unopened. On Christmas Morning I decided to open and store the supplements
and realized the package had 87 million inches of tape on it and screamed to Bob.
"This Is From Janice..She baked our cake" I can tell by the tape and of course I then read the return address.
Perfect to open it Christmas morning.
LOVE YOU JANICE

The above photo is from our beaches on Christmas day. Record breaking 86 degrees and today and tomorrow and all the way to New Years day will be the same.
Some One PLEASE help that cold front get past the Tropical Wave coming UP from the tropics. and if you could take a little humidity we would love that to.
NO NO NO.. where is December?

Good morning, what a nice surprise to open on Christmas Day!
I am glad your brother will be fine with time. I think I would enjoy the warm sunny temps in Florida. We have temps in the 50's with cloudy, rainy skies.
Have a happy day and weekend!

Hope your bro will recover well. Fruitcake home made WOW,,
And you want winter? Really?
Those heading south this year must be thrilled with their good forune weather wise though pocket books will suffer as our dollar value is lowest in decades.

what a nice surprise for you on Christmas. Glad to hear your brother will be ok.
It's not real cold here but I will gladly take some of your Florida heat. If it's all the same you can send the humidity to someone else though :)

What a beautiful tin and all the love inside surely made you smile and tempted your taste buds. We are so happy your brother is feeling better each day.
IT IS EVEN TOOO HOT IN FLORIDA FOR DECEMBER. THIS IS WHEN YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE NO HUMIDITY.
Thank you I'm glad you like the header. It was a contender for our Christmas card but I decided it was purrfect for an after Christmas Header.
Hugs cecilia and madi

December is here in SoCal where the temps have been in the high 40's and 50's! Love the Christmas tree on the beach!

What a nice surprise.

We will be dropping in the the low forties after our three days of storms. I may be wanting some of those warm days.

You think you have humidity? It has rained here for the past three days! The creeks are flooding, and have to watch for flooded roads. I am so ready for some sun...and unliquid weather...LOL
