Yep, similar conversations can be heard around here! lol! And I saw the lizard right away...we even have a few slithering around here. Not my favorite outside critter, but slightly better than a snake!

Capturing the lizard without realising it was a bonus. They're such quick creatures that it's difficult to snap one unless they're 'sunbathing'. The flowers are pretty.

Admittedly, I had to look really hard, but did find the small lizard in the photo. And, I know what you mean about speech because when we first moved to southern VA from NJ, it was often hard to understand folks, but then we got used to their speech patterns so it was no big deal.
