Madsnapper Fitter-Bitter.... or How to be FIT without the BIT...
After Cataract surgery I am a slave to four tiny bottles of drops, a timer, a pink highlighter and a chart per eye... and NOWI am fitter than a bitter... A lot of you have the fitbit thingy's and are counting your steps.
Bob said to Jake, Look, mommy is getting her exercise doing her drops. And when I counted my steps for doing the drops it came to 95 steps for each time I do the drops totals 950 steps a day for drops.
157 steps around the basket ball court comes to 1570 steps or 3140 depending on 1/2 mile or 1 mile. At home I walk the same steps around our pool... the total 5 days a week is 6280 walking.
Grand total is 7230 steps a day from walking and drops.... who needs a fit bit?
Not me, I am my own fit bit counter.... I also do leg exercise in pool and on bed and 20 squats.
... I will not bore you with the steps for trips to the potty... remember I am officially OLD...and that total will surely bring me to 10,000 per day..

And all this time I've been wearing a tracker around my wrist when I could have been using the Sandra system....lol
LOL! Potty trips alone would really add the steps for me!

Love how your mind works!!

go girl!
Hang in there!!
Hello, you are staying fit with all your steps. I agree with the bathroom steps, I make a lot of potty visits. Happy Monday, have a great week!
Fitter than a fit bitter! <3
This is very cool to schedule your exercise with your eye drops! But what will you do when the drops are done? Continue to do the exercises at the same time? You will soon be skinny as well. I did NOT get fancy charts like this; I had to make my own. You got a bottle cap to match the marker! Did you get the marker from the doctor too?
Way to go! I've never been able to do that with my lungs but I think I could do more now if it weren't for my knee. I get my biggest work out doing laundry one day each week. You have inspired me to try harder......
LOL!
I've been thinking about getting DH and me twin FitBits for Christmas, but you've proven (that) just by thinking outside the box, one can sure save $$$. I seriously admire your discipline, Sandra. Woo-hoo!
LOL...Now that sounds like a much more fun way to count steps than my fitbit!!
Good job on keeping the drops in order and on time! And getting your steps managed, too. You are so together.
HaHaHaHa......
good for you and all those steps though. I sure need to get in the program myself.
Glad you are healing from your eye surgery.
I like your logic. You've nailed this exercise thing!
