Windows: software that has too many holes but few windows. It is the nightmare of Bill Gates that the less tech-savvy are experiencing on a daily basis.
Be Strong, I whispered to my Wi-Fi Signal.... quote by Lisa Wong
I woke up to a screen similar to this Friday Morning. I had shut down the computer at 7:30 pm and at 5 am I walked in the room and there sat the computer STILL running, it said 81 percent complete Windows is updating, do not turn off computer. EIGHT HOURS.. and they hi-jacked it and when I did boot up they had changed all my stuff around AGAIN...

What can I say........we are Apple users.
mine was automatically upgraded too and there were changes made. I hate that it's not optional. They force it on you if you want it or not.
Good morning, Sandra! I saw a similar screen with a warning do not turn off my computer. But, I do not see many changes, I am seeing my email show up now. I assume this update had many fixes.
Sandra what a nightmare....I know how hard you worked to get everything up and running. I think I will stick to Windows 7 as long as I can. I would not have a clue how to fix everything every time it G(a)ets an update

Grrrr! I switched to Apple over five year's ago and have never looked back.
Best,
Bonnie
What a pain!!!
It's kind of freaky when you pause to think about it, (that) we've really no control and it only takes orders from the mother ship. If I were a conspiracy theorist .... oh my!
I, too, am sticking with Windows 7 as long as it will have me!
yeah, mine ran for several hours wednesday night.
Windows 10 is obviously defective. I am so sorry. I think they should be working on 11 right now. A better one that fixes the bugs in 10. LOVE LOVE your classy shadow shot!! It could be on the cover of a country magazine, big and glossy for all to see. I had to scroll up and look again, and everything in the picture is just perfect.
So sorry.
I do love your shadow shot.
Nice shadows. I'm sorry you're still having trouble with your computer. That is no fun whatsoever!
I like the shadow shot! Ugh! Technology!
I know....same here!! What a pain.
lovely photo..
Roger's computer updated to Win 10 while he was still in the hospital...I had not touched it.
Love the shadow shot. There have been times over the years when my computer has done that and I just shut it down and turn it back on.
