Continued from Grime and Punishment. Dirty glass and dirty refrigerator top etc etc.
The grime on top of the fridge was so thick it could not be wiped off.. I love Murphy. The Soap. Not The Murphy with his own law... when hot soapy vinegar, dawn and ammonia water would not wipe that grime away, I heard Murphy singing Here I Come to Save the Day. I instructed Hubby to pour a little from the bottle and wipe with the wet clothe and Voila! the grime melted away.
Murphy cleans wood beautifully. I met this wonder soap in 1997 when the ladies at our church met to clean the wooden benches in the church. The grime that collects on the back of the wooden benches where we put our hands. Kate mixed this in warm water and I was shocked to see the grime disappear as I wiped. I have been a fan every since.
NOTE!
Before you judge me about the Grime, you need to know I have gone from 5'6" to 5'4" inches in height and I think my arms are shorter to, and I know it can't be the fact I am fat and to stiff to reach that far.... I was upset that Hubby is 8 years older than I am and he could do it. Then it dawned on me, he shrunk from 5'11" to 5'10'' which is still much taller than I am and besides that he has long arms. That is my story and I am sticking to it.

I love Murphy too!!! It cleans my cupboard doors when Louis Dean bakes bread and gets his oily wet floured hands all over them opening one cabinet and then another!
I was 5'2" and now am 5 foot and one half inch. I can't even reach the back shelves in the fridge!
I have been shrinking too. I used to be 5' 7" and now I'm 5'5'. So we both shrunk two pounds! I am guessing it is just a natural fact of getting old? But maybe some people do not. I will have to google it now. I have heard of this soap but never used it. It sounds awesome!
I love this cleaner, too. I am about an inch shorter than I was.
Hello, the Murphy cleaner is great. I have shrunk too , I guess it goes along with the bone loss. I have used baking soda, vinegar and dawn, works great on grout too. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
No judgement here. I was encouraged that I wasn't the only only one (fridge top) haha. Don't get me wrong I still like a clean ship, I just don't beat myself up about it anymore when I slip up.
You and your hubby are a dynamic duo against grime!
It pays to stick to our stories.
I met Murphy when I helped the boss's wife clean her house. I am a fan, too.
I love Murphy too! Now that I have moved to apt.
I only have to use my Hero. Mr. Clean.
Love your humour.
Have a nice Day Sandra.
Twice two different nurses weighed me in and measured my height.
One said I loss an inch from 5ft 6 inches.
Second one said I am still tall 5ft 6 inches.
And I know when I go to the grocery store. People ask me. Can you reach up and get that item please.
For the weight for me. Well I am on weight watchers to lose.
My weight has got uncontrolled. Living here and having tea in afternoon and special suppers in the week. The gals have 6 flavours on table of different cookies. A boxes of Chocolates. Now the last two days.
They had those delicious cookies Valentine hearts.
That was hard to say no too. I did it and drank my tea.
I love Murphy's oil too!
I've been 5'3 3/4" for most of my life except in the 70's when I had big hair then I was about 5'5"
LOL
Hugs Cecilia
Love Murphy's! I use it on the floors, cabinets and so much.
I was 5'7" and now 5'6"? I'll find out soon at the doctor's office. It's probably because of my neck.
I'm also a big Murphy's Oil fan and love the way it cleans wooden cabinets!
I've not used Murphy's before ... but this testimonial's made me a Believer.
We always had Murphy's oil in the house when I was growing up. As for the grime, I will not judge you because I am quite certain the top of my refrigerator is disgusting ànd I have no excuse for not being able to clean it
I need to try Murphy's soap! I have heard of it forever. I will believe your story of shrinking!
I had better not be shrinking, or I'll look like a kid with white hair.LOL
I love to use Murphy's oil soap on my kitchen cabinets! I am going to have to find a measuring tape and check my height. Never thought about losing inches. Yikes! Wish losing pounds was easy.
I think Murphy is hiding out in the laundry room. And not a moment too soon did you tell me about this. I'll use it tomorrow! I'm shorter than I used to be, but I'm blaming it on the orthopedic surgeon for cutting my leg off.
I never thought about using Murphy for other things other then wood! Glad it worked.
