Cracker Trail 2017 - Clyde

Bob says Clyde the Mule is the most beautiful mule he has ever seen. I agree 100%. Isn't he handsome? When I aimed my camera he looked right into the lens..

Advice from a Mule.
Be surefooted
Follow your path
Work hard
Go slow and steady
It's OK to be a little stubborn
Get a little kick out of life!

Time  leave and Clyde was stepping on out and pulling his lady friends behind...Check out the wheels on this mini-Conestoga.. I did not have the opportunity to ask their names.

I saw a lot of mules when I was growing up, and this one is the best looking! I am enjoying your photos!

His look says 'Curious Clyde'. Either that or someone has taught him about the best facial angle for a photo ;)

Really great pictures! Clyde looks so sweet! Do you know how old he is? I would not have known he is a mule! The only difference from a horse I see is that his ears are bigger and he has no mane, but he sure is pretty. He deserves a better name, though. He has a marking on his hip, maybe a brand? It is white though. The wagon wheels look a bit like bicycle wheels!

Clyde is so handsome! Looks like that dy was a lot of fun and I agree with Bob! My brother had a mule named Stretch. After a day of his grandkids riding him, I got on him to ride him back to the barn. He didn't like it and bucked me off and broke my ankle. I did stay on for the 8 seconds to receive a family trophy afterwards. However, I learned a big lesson that day, do not ride a hungry mule.

Clyde is, indeed, a looker. I had to do a double-take when you wrote 'mule.' :)
'Just wish they'd take all those awful heavy reins, etc. off ... looks hot.

I bet that mini-Conestoga wagon is more comfortable than the ones with metal rims.

My brother had a friend who had a mule and her name was Damn It...true story.

He sure is a good looking mule Clyde. A lot of Horse body in him.

His Momma when she was pregnant must of been having her eyes in thought. Gee I love that Horse on the other side of the field.

I mean look at Clyde. Really.

Clyde is a handsome mule. He has a beautiful coat - a lovely colour. My Dad used to look after horses and mules in the Army - the mules carried heavy gear across rough mountain trails because they were sure-footed. They must have been tough creatures that needed a lot of good handling. It's good to see Clyde doing his bit in the Cracker Trail Ride event.
