Is there anything you don't know

Bob is constantly saying to me, Ask Google Girl.. We were eating lunch and he said do you think there is anything Google Girl doesn't know? I pulled the tablet toward me and said "is there anything you don't know? Up came the above...

The shocking thing was, I was not the FIRST to ask the question...

This link will take you to a lot of stuff you Don't Need To Know (50 things in fact).... and this link 8 terrifying things that most people don't know, I did NOT read because I have enough fears of my own.

My personal favorites:

" A Tigers skin is striped, not just their fur".

Rubber bands last longer in the fridge

Peanuts are one of he ingredients of Dynamite?????

I am eating Walnuts, does that count? will I just blow UP???

* 39- Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people do.
if you are not dead of boredom and want to take this even further click HERE  and if you decide to read all this, remember what Abe said...

Hello Sandra! Google is just amazing. I did not know peanuts were an ingredient of Dynamite. Thanks for the links. Abe was a smart man!

Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

Fun stuff but I did not need to know about left-handed people dying. It takes a lot of stamina to hold up in a right-handed world. Did you know that even an ironing board is designed right-handed? At least when I go, I'll be in my 'right' mind. :P

GOOGLE GIRL!! AKA GG IS ONE SMART COOKIE TOO.
I DID Know about the tiger's skin...heard that on NatGEO
Here is something I learned on 60 minutes that I wish I didn't know.
Parmesan Cheese (the kind in the shake container) has wood pulp in it.
The wood pulp is added to make it stick together.

I'm not sure how we survived before google or the internet.

we googled something about birds and half naked women came up as well as birds. there's pros and cons to the internet and I don't believe everything I read on there. :)

I don't believe there were any peanuts in Sweden when Alfred Nobel (yes, it is his prize, the Nobel prize) invented dynamite back in the 19th century. Maybe peanuts were later added as an enhancement. Maybe for a bigger blast. Oh, now you got me, I have to go and ask Google.

OK, I checked it out. It has to do with nitroglycerin, which is made of glycerol, which comes from peanut oil. So there was peanut oil made into glycerol in Sweden for sure as it is also used in soap and other things. Thanks Google for the information. Thanks Madsnapper for finding such interesting subjects for your blog.

But I heard that if it's on the internet it has to be true...lol

Fascinating! I enjoy all the stuff I can learn on the internet but 'true facts' I take with a pinch of salt until I can confirm without a doubt. Great post Sandra :)

OK, I'm officially depressed. Someone gets to live 9 more years than me, just because he's right-handed? Foul!!!
I'm already so fraught with what-if's and things-that-go-bump-in-the-night ... I'm going to take a pass on the Terrifying Things link.

Have to admit, it sounds like your Google Girl's lots smarter than our Alexa.

I remember learning in school about George Washington Carver who claimed to have found hundreds of uses for peanuts. I guess there is nothing you can't find on Google, but how truthful some of it is...well that is another thing. Had to laugh about Abe Lincoln and the internet. Fun post sweet Sandra. Hugs

Well Sandra that certainly was fun. I checked out the 8 Terrifying things (the Bellybutton one is creepy)...now you'll have to check it out. Thanks for a fun and informative post. I'll be careful the next time I eat peanuts.
