TIME to Fall Back an hour, TIME to fall back and hour! Tomorrow is the DAY
This post started when THREE of my FOUR watches all quit at the same time, or rather I found out they had. I only wear the two bracelet watches when I go OUT. My friends came from Savannah and I wanted to wear my black and silver. DEAD, so pick the red, DEAD, next I went for the BIG one I can SEE, dead. Good old number 4 was ticking away, well, they don't TICK any more. It is only a few months old. The BIG one strap broke, while I was at Walmart buying the smaller one because the watch was 7.99 and the strap was 12.99, Bob was home surprising me by repairing the band.
The two bracelets were a gift for my 64th birthday and I am 73. The battery had never been replaced.
for those of you who wake up when you wake up, eat when you are hungry, go to bed when you are sleepy, this time change will not matter. But for those of us who are regimented in a life ruled by the clock. OH NOOOOOO,

I HATE it! It gets dark in the middle of the day!! Yes, I have maybe six watches. But I forget to pill the stem out when not wearing, so none of them work now. I do wear them, but choose the color just to match my outfit. I love your red one, that is my favorite. Love the red beads, and you can see the face pretty well.
I’m up late and I STILL could not beat Ginny Hartzler to the comment!
Nope I do not wear a watch anymore and the time change does not really affect my life as I know it.
I actually like the REAL time as opposed to the Daylight Saving Time.
And, might I add, how cool is it that Ginny wears watches for color coordinated outfits instead of telling time? She is my hero!
Cute post, Sandra. I have a watch that my parents gave me in 1975. I seldom wear it but I am constantly aware of the time throughout the day. My pets and I will suffer when the time changes - our meals will be off for several weeks!
I LOVE the bead wataches. I don't think I have a watch any more. I used to wear them but I'm not real sure what made me stop. I would take 18 (or more) photos of my watch if I had one though. Now days my cell phone acts as my watch plus my camera, my calculator and my alarm clock.
The time change will have me screwed up for a while.
Sandra, what time is it? Hehe. Our automatic digital clocks changed themselves Thursday. Since they set themselves, I couldn’t change them back so we’ve been living dst a few days already. I haven’t worn a watch daily since I retired, yea! Hope you are having a good time!
Only you would take pictures - lol. I have two watches! lol You are so cute. Thanks for the reminder....
What a timely post!!! (pun intended) I love it and I love the bracelet watches. Do you remember the scarab watch bands from the 60's! I loved those. Wish I still had mine as the bracelet are in A G A I N.
I have several watches too. The one I wear the most is my NCSU retirement watch for 25 years service.
Hugs
Cecilia
Whew!! I don't have to worry about this because I don't have a watch--not even one--and I'm never late for anything. I am a compulsive "be on time" person.
Best,
Bonnie
Hello, I have a few dead watches too. I never bothered to buy new batteries. I stopped wearing a watch and use my phone to look at the time. Your bracelet watches are pretty. Happy Saturday!
Samson Says: Dumbest thing EVER and it SURE THING MATTERS to us dogs!
I am so contrary to what many people are. I look forward to changing the clock back to be what the sun is.I also have two watches, one for work and one for dress-up wear.
It seems like I want to eat all day when we have that extra hour LOL
OMD...You have too much time on your hands(or wrist) teeheehee!
I wear a Fitbit n my right wrist and an Apple watch on my left wrist(during the week). I am married to a gadget-aholic and get all his leftovers.
Love your collection of watches. I haven’t worn one in years. They are safely tucked away in a box - they don’t work any more. I love the fact that Ginny color coordinates her watches. I used to be regular on my hours but not any more. I don’t like to sleep in too late but no longer get up at the crack of dawn :)
I feel naked without a watch...just cannot stand to not have one on. And I lost mine a while back...I never did find it. The pin must have broken or something cause I NEVER take it off and lay it down...not even in the shower. I get one that is water resistent till I don't have to worry.
If I had those watches, I might take a bunch of photos....I love that first couple of photos.
I love watches. I have one I wear most of the time so the other's I pull the stopper out when I'm not using them. I think it keeps the battery last longer. Cute watches!!
This post just popped up in my feed. I think I'm late...Love your watches. My daughter used to collect them--before she got busy with children. She may still have some of them.
