Please have a seat and tell me if you cut the tags off your towels and sheets and pillow cases.
Do you cut them off pillows and mattress, the kind that say under penalty of law do not remove tags?
I cut them off towels and wash cloths, but not sheets.
the reason to leave on sheets is we have dual king bed and the sheets are so close in size, I know to put the white tag under on my side of the bed and the sheet will fit.
JUST SO YOU KNOW, to cut costs, some manufacturers recycled old, used bedding materials and stuffed them into new mattresses. To make sure manufacturers and retailers did not try to remove tags and the mattress as new, if it contained recycle materials, they made a penalty for removals. This means sellers can remove the tags. We can, but if you do, keep the tags because the warranty on the mattress may require the tag to be on it.
IN MY OPINON leave the tags on the mattress and pillows.

...not something I've given much thought to! Not sure it applies over this way... YAM xx
I usually don't remove the tags unless it's something that is going to be visible to anyone who walks into the room where the tagged item is located.
That is horrible! I did not know that.
I leave 'em on except for towels & wash cloths.
Good morning,
I think it is awful that they use old materials in new mattresses. When you buy new you expect all new materials. I love the bench and chair, looks like a pretty place to sit and relax. Enjoy your day!
What a peaceful looking space to sit and think a bit.
MS I leave the tags on the sheets for the very reason that you do!! LOL tag goes at the top left side of the mattress.
I do occasionally cut them off towels and rags if they are really big.

Beautiful photos! And good reason to leave tags on mattresses. I don't think to cut tags off towels or sheets, and only do if they get in the way of folding. Then I might go get a scissors and cut them off. I try to buy sheets that have stripes (mostly white stripes) so that I can tell which way to put the Queen Size sheets on the bed. Or sometimes I'll take a magic marker and write 'Foot, Full' on a sheet so I know which bed it goes on. We have queen, full, and twin. Certainly a first-world issue!! lol
Good question that made me smile. No, I don't cut the tags off and yes, they annoy me. Why do I not cut them off then, I don't know..,.,.
LOL

Honestly...no we do not cut off the tags unless it may be a towel that is display only and the tag gives me issues.
I only removed tags on things that bother me. I laugh when I see under penalty of law - who is going to get me? I removed a lot of my tags on my clothes though - they drive me nuts.
Have a very Blessed Easter! Sandie
I like to remove all tags. That's just how I am. Have a Happy Easter.
Oh.My.Goodness, Sandra, we've done it again! When making our bed, I also look for the little white 'under-tag to start the process at the right corner.
I used to enjoy tearing off those silly labels; not so much anymore. And what you said about recycled bedding ... ISH!!! :(
HAPPY EASTER!
Love the photos but don't understand the tag issue. Maybe different here.
It's lovely to meet up with you again, Sandra, after my blog break. I would like to sit a while in the sunshine with you and I love those two photos of the seats set in those sunny spots. I wish you and yours a very peaceful and happy Easter.
I didn't know that about mattresses either! Love the photos.
We leave most tags on all things unless they scratch us . Many are now printed right into fabrics.
I do not remove any of the tags. Interesting info. Hugs
I recently bought a new expensive mattress but it's the kind that I can open up and check what's inside... I does look and feel new! I see no reason to remove tags on a mattress as one always covers it with sheets anyway! And on sheets, the tag usually gets tucked away anyway - I've never thought about it, really. I remove tags on clothes if for example they irritate my skin, otherwise I don't think about it. With towels I probably leave them too unless for some reason they irritate me.
