I dragged Bob down to the Manatee River just before sunrise, back in 2005. The river is behind the gate, that is a private dock out over the river. It was not total dark, just looks that way because I used the flash. We turned and I said LOOK and Snapped without flash.

It is a school bus driving past the condos behind it. I fiddle with the colors. Of Course! the top is what the camera saw. The squares are the glow in the dark decals on the bus sides, you can see the condos better below...

What cool fun and illusions! You really chose a good group today. I never in a million years would have guessed a bus. I didn't even see a bus, it looks like part of the building to me. Now that you say it, I can see a bus...but it STILL looks more like part of the building than a vehicle! The gates in what looks like dark are a fearful sight. To think there is water just behind them. You could open the gate, go through, and drown!!!
I couldn't tell that was a bus until you pointed it out. How cool that it has those glow in the dark decals on the side.

You find some good subjects to photograph. I would not have thought of going out so early in the morning, but fascinating what you captured. The white gate and railings really stand out.

This reminds me of a trip our family made to Disneyworld WAY back in the early 70's. I'd brought along my new 35 mm camera -- which I had little-to-no idea how to use. That evening after dark I got in an argument with my dad who said, open it up all the way and take the picture! SO sure when the photos came back that it would be a dud … but no. It was probably the best shot of the whole trip, and now I've no idea what happened to it.
I would never have guessed school bus, but have no idea what I thought it was either.
These are really cool photos. Glad you told us what it was. It would have taken me a month of Sundays to figure it out.

Super cool. My vision is too messed up,to get much from the bus but the fence stood out and I loved that.
