What time was it?
What was MadSnapper doing'
Why was she doing it at that time?
Picture This! The Government forced us to turn our clocks back one hour, even though the state of Florida voted to NOT change the time. The Federal Govt. Told Our Governor It is Against the law to STAY on Daylight Savings Time. Federal Law.
Doesn't matter what we voted on.
A. I did not know about that Law
B. I did not know I voted to stay on DST, because I thought I was voting to NOT change.
C. We did change and at 2:30 AM on Sunday Morning, my eyes popped open at my usual time and there I was, Me and the Big Dog thinking it was potty time and nothing to do in the dark.
(for those of you thinking I am crazy, I can't help it that we are early morning people and habitual in our sleeping habits)
With Coffee in hand, I hid in the bedroom trying to NOT hear the TV blasting in the living room, because the other half was also UP.
(have you ever heard early morning CNN on full blast)
My brain works at Maximum capacity early in the AM.
Thus I made the decision to tackle NEW PIC-MONKEY... and because they chose to make it work only on Androids of their choice, including all Apple phones and Ipads
and NOT on my Desk top, and Not on my Samsung Tablet, which is what I prefer, I had to use the laptop, which made me cranky because I prefer the Desk top.
Never-mind if i had a NEW desk top it would work fine.
I really love the new PicMonkey but the thing is, I need a new device that works well with it. NEED! I say NEED! a new device.
I am upset with the government 😁😁, the idiots who wrote the info on the ballot so we don't know what we are voting on, also upset with the developers at PicMonkey who think everyone in the world can afford Apple Products....or NEW Desktop
Are you picking up what I am putting down?
ALSO, SOMEONE NEEDS TO TEACH The DOGS about Time Changes if they are going to insist on us changing it.

It really is an obsolete function now. There was some debate here last year about cancelling the whole thing - but it never happened and we went through that change a week ahead of you. Sigh... YAM xx
I hate the whole time change thing and I don't know why we have to continue with it. I don't even care which one they stick with just pick one and stay there.
I also get annoyed with companies that think that everyone owns an apple product or the latest and greatest android.
We tried to get our senator to bring up a bill to stop DST...didn't work. I don't like time change at all. AND it's not saving energy like it was dubbed to do long ago at the beginning.
Bud & I never change our clocks! If I make appointments and it's 8 a.m. appointment, I make sure I adjust for the hour difference on my calendar. Heart meds need to be taken at same time daily...so, easier to leave clocks on standard time year 'round.
Get your new device I say.
I had a whole reply typed out and lost it. .will try to come back when on computer.
Okay, so I am with you on the time change...Indiana did not do the Time change till 2007--2008...can't remember just when. I hate it for school kids. In the summer they have to go to bed when it is still daylight! I hate the way they do stuff for computers...all the way from designing new programs that require a computer upgrade, to the places that 'improve' their websites...they usually only make them more confusing and harder to find what you are looking for.
I'm feeling ya on all levels! The Government needs to stop micro managing, its definitely a pet peeve with me and the husband. Computers are a love hate relationship. It's like we can't live with them, and we can't live without them. The upgrades are frustrating. Just when you are comfortable and know how to maneuver around them they go and change things up. Now where we differ is the morning thing. My brain cannot function so early but the husband, he's bright eyed and bushy tailed come the break of dawn and sometimes earlier. When he goes in his office he keeps the volume down as not to wake his slumbering wife.
Sorry I've been MIA It's been a crazy busy month.
Evidently parts of Indiana and Arizona didn't know it was the LAW either.
Were you really up at 1:30 am blogging? LOL
There was an article in the paper recently that DST is not healthy for humans or animals. I wish they'd pick a time and stick to it.
You are a MadSnapper for sure
Hugs Cecilia
I barely have time to put my photos on my computer let alone use PicMonkey. I haven't changed a photo in years other than the size of it sometimes which I do on my phone. You were definitely up early. I change all the clocks before bedtime. I think it is wrong to have the vote and then the Government change it. I'm thinking that happened here to because a friend of mine posted it on Facebook. She said I thought the bill went through but apparently not! I would love for the time to remain the same all the time. We are usually up between 6 and 7.
If you figure how to realign dogs' inner clocks … oh my, the $$$$$$ you'd make!
Since Tom's COPD makes it necessary he sleep in the recliner in the den, yes. If he forgets to tune his hearing aids in (hence, turn off the TV volume) I'll get an unwelcome earful of CNN. Or Gunsmoke, or John Wayne. Not pretty, my friend. Not pretty.
I know this is a sore spot with a lot of people but thankfully not a big deal to me. I kind of like that it gets dark earlier....but then I love the dark.
But I can just see you with that extra hour and not knowing what to do with it!! I know you are a minimalist - but SERIOUSLY!!! Hahaha!! You don't want extra debris around and not even so much as an extra HOUR!! Hahahahahaha!
I love you, you know!
I hate this time change, as it now gets dark at 4:30. We cannot go anywhere in the evening if we don't want to drive in the dark. For late doctor appointments over Afton Mountain, we have to drive home over the mountain in the dark. This was not fair for the feds to bully Florida!! As Christmas and Black Friday and all are coming, maybe you can get a new laptop really cheap!! Also, you know Amazon had their deals of the day. They also have lightning deals that only last a few hours. Wouldn't hurt to do a bit of shopping. Wal-Mart is starting their sales now as well. I love your picture because this is ME right now. I am sitting with my laptop and a big cup of coffee. How long will it take you to recover from the time change?
Boy, do I remember those days when my boys were babies.
They didn't understand the time change either...I was pretty grumpy myself.
Oh my goodness, I just was smelling something burning and it was getting stronger...
For some unknown reason I forgot to turn off the burner under my frypan.
I had been fixing eggs and had already finished eating them.
So glad I was near by to go and investigate.
P.U.
Stinky
I have to turn the fan on now!!
I guess I had an official "Senior" moment...that's what I get for turning 76 yesterday!!!
Now I am officially OLD !!
Sigh...
For some reasons our dogs are really having a hard time adjusting this year too!
I have always hated daylight saving time. I knew Florida had voted to stay on it year round, but it was a mostly symbolic vote because of the Federal government's Uniform Time Act which would have to be amended to allow it. It would be particularly hard up here where I live so close to the state line because then Georgia would be on a different time than us for part of the year unless they adopted it too. There are a lot of people who commute back and forth to work from smaller towns in Georgia to Tallahassee. I wish we could just stay on standard time year round.
1:30 I would guess.
Coffee is on
Here here! Ditto! Why don't they just split the hour in two and be done with it!
