Trees from the Past

I have two trees, each 24 inches high. Over the years each has had several turns in the NOOK. This is a few of the different looks in past years.

The above tree, all five of them are the same tree. In 2005, one of my team mates gave me this tree decorated with a whole box of milk bones wired to each limb.  After I clipped the wires, the next year I was lazy. Put a set of lights on it and took to garlands and wrapped it.

About this last tree, I have NO IDEA why I did this or why I left it there or why I am showing it to you. Scroll back from UGLY to PINK, same tree, same person did it. HUMMMM

Ugly, NOT! It makes me smile; particularly, with the little red bear sitting there. My very favorite is the second photo -- I suppose on account of the warm lighting. Aaaah, pass the egg-nog!

Lovely trees, one and all! I hate wrapping lights around a tree. Never never never can do it in a way that I am pleased with. This year, since our old tree was showing age, I gave it away and got a new one that came with colored lights already on it. Bliss for years to come, I thought. Then I read the small print: lights guaranteed to last only 2 years. Nooooooooooooooooooooooo1

MS you did it because YOU COULD...Each one has a personality and your NOOK
is simply amazing. I love how the mirror takes on such sparkle with each one

I like them all, including the last one. It makes me think you were very joyful when you decorated it. I sure can not pick a favorite!

If I was to show trees of the past the shape and size would change but not the decor...HOWEVER having bought a BLACK Christmas tree on Christmas day on line, and having bought silver and red balls on clearance after Christmas next yrs tree will be really different.

I really love the tree with the roses on it, third from the bottom. It is just splendid! Looks so Victorian! I actually like them all, but the last one is my least favorite.

Love the idea of the MilkBone biscuit decorations.

Someone really knew you.

My tree always looks the same , except there are less and less ornaments each year, because I get too tired of doing it...well not putting them on to enjoy (which I do)...but taking them off and putting all the stuff away..drudgery...

I like the different looks of yours.

Home today because Dave's cold is in the really icky stage and mine wants so badly to blossom...but

I'm not going to let it WIN!!

I love all your trees except maybe that last one.......guess you were in bad place or a bad mood? Your nook is beautiful! Is it hard to keep all that glass and mirror clean?

Each tree has a special look and when you are creative it would bore you if they were all the same.

Enjoyed looking at the tree and that last one looks very festive like a New Year's tree!
