I have a collection of trees I see as I walk each day.. The left side of above is our oak tree in our front yard. I will do a post on the trees in our yard soon.. the red leaves are Bob's Mango tree in a bucket in our back yard. He planted a seed..
I got a shock yesterday. All of a Sudden my phone made an odd screech, screech sound. I picked it up and there was a notation that said Bada Bada BING.. I thought what is that. After much brain strain, I remembered that when I had playtime on my first day of new phone, I just picked a day in the future and typed Bada Bad Bing to see what it would do..... YAY.. now I have added a few screech reminders.

We have no Banyan trees, and I have never seen one. It looks like many smaller tree trunks. Reminds me of the Strangler Fig. I love those four big green leaves at the limb junction; they are sunlit. Bottom left tree, what is that fruit? Looks like a palm tree, don't they grow only coconuts?
Your vegetation is a lot different from ours! This area is mixed conifer and aspens.
wow that are wonderful trees... we always wish they could talk to tell us the stories from a long gone time ;O)

That banyan tree is fascinating.
I love Batman. (Auto correct changed Banyan to batman!!) trees!! I can still see them on the island of Oahu. So majestic they are.

I love all the trees, it is cool Bob planted a seed and now it is so tall. The banyan tree is neat too. I would need a calm reminder, a screech out of the blue on the phone would scare me..Enjoy your day!

The National Arboretum once sold a bumper sticker in its gift shop that said "Tree's company." My husband attended a webinar last week on saving the American chestnut.
I remember when my parents would begin our annual road trip to Florida the first thing I wanted to see was the big Banyan tree at the Edison home.
My phone's not a Samsung (Google pixel), but I'm I'm going to have to check out playtime reminders. Gosh knows, I don't want to waste any of my remaining brain cells on mundane to-do lists. :)))

Love the walk among the trees...the hairy Banyon is fabulous.

It's great to see the trees in your area. Love the oak tree in your front yard. The banyans remind me of a song 'under the banyan tree' so different from trees grown here in the UK. My granddaughter is trying to grow a mango from a seed. Now I know what the leaves look like.

That Banyon tree is amazing. Didn't they have a lot of those at Ringling Brothers Museum? Interesting about your phone...surprise! I send myself reminders all the time.
I always enjoy seeing glimpses of your Florida environments, both natural and manmade. And Bob's bucket garden projects are always interesting, too, although I don't know if they fall in the "natural" category, "manmade" or both!

Summer is recovering but it's painful. They won't program the SCS(spinal cord stimulator) until next Tuesday when I take her back to the doctor. As I was typing I thought of the way my Granny would say that......take her back to the doctor. She would say 'Carry her back to the doctor.' Louis Dean says that sometimes.....
We do not have these trees in Europe! I have a small avocado tree that I have grown myself from an avocado pit. But I don't have that many expectations ... it will never make an avocado fruit!

It's scary when devices seem to get up to their own tricks! The other day when I turned on my (new) printer, it automatically started printing out a long document that I had not consciously asked it to print... Took me several pages to find out how to stop it!!! (I must have clicked a print button on the computer by mistake while the printer was off, I suppose)
