Tree in a Tree and Whiskey Joes

No earthly reason to take these photos while walking, a tree growing in a tree, dropped their by birds possibly one of the Ibis in that yard.
But while I was taking it, conversation over heard.

Two male joggers running along talking talking talking and the last thing I heard them say:

Do you want to go to Whiskey Joe's later?
and the guy said yeah cool!
and the other guy said the cost of  a meal there is really high right now. $18.99 a plate.
and they were gone!

Maybe instead of being a photographer I should think of being a professional Eavesdropper.

Love the birds! And I love hearing conversation snippets! I just hope if they go, they wear masks. Course it would be pretty hard to eat at the same time.

Omgoodness...the comment that "easy" left just cracked me up.

Love the on us photo. Of course I would.

I like your title of mad snapper. Mad dropper just doesn't jive.

Hello,

Whiskey Joe's sounds like a bar, I guess they serve food and whiskey.
I like the White Ibis, they were a daily sighting in Florida.
I moderate all my comments, the spam is annoying. Enjoy your day!

I think you should photograph the people you eavesdrop on...that way we can put a face to the comment...

I take it....we won't be meeting them there! heeheehee! Love the Ibis! We've had a few strolling through our backyard this week, even in the rain. Hugs!

OMW, what 'easy' said? That was the first thing I thought when I saw your tree picture. What would Dr. Freud have to say? Ha!
$18.99 a plate sounds ridiculous --and I'll bet that's not even steak. I used to think my sense of hearing was my super power, but you put me to shame. Professional eavesdropper sounds like you could be a P.I.!

You should do both - so I wonder what meal was $18.99 and if that was a bargain???

You could do both, I love what you overhear. I guess that's what everyone said above too.

I forgot, I love the picture of the birds. I've never seen a flock of them before, are some young ones that will set out on their own soon?

Beautiful birds, just grazing in that yard.
Pretty hefty cost for that plate. I hope it was a big juicy steak with all the fixings...Love that you overheard the chat. I always wonder what the end of the story was cause they have the nerve to go on their way before the conversation is finished.
Gonna be another hot one today.
Picked the remainder Santa Rosa plums and have pitted, peeled and chopped another 300++. They are in the fridge and will do some more jam and freeze the rest for future what-ever....
What a job. I was so done last night !!
Still haven't heard any further on son Mark...Waiting is so hard.

BOL BOL 18.99 a plate wonder what they serve and is it a 18 k gold trimmed plate. That was a great job of catching the most impawtant conversation.

Tree in a tree is great but the Ibis are even better.

You need to keep taking pictures to have a good cover for your eavesdropping
LOL!

I'm here thinking why do they want to go to a restaurant during this virus???? Like the tree in the tree.

Those snippets of conversation are always interesting. Liked your photos a lot, the tree within a tree, nice birdie to do that :) Great shot of all the birds. We haven't been out to a restaurant since this all started. Can't say I have missed it too much but those poor restaurant owners. We are ordering take-out tomorrow from one of our local places. Son and daughter-in-law are coming over and we thought to do something special.
