WalMart, Handbag Dept

My new mask, tied back on left, hanging free on right.

The Title of Wal-Mart, Handbag Dept is for Ginny, because I knew you would ask where I got it.

It seems to be easier to breathe.
And I am hoping it will stop the fogging of my glasses.

The greeter at WM had on a black one, the WM shopper for online had one on. I waned Black.
They had 2 left, both this color.

Pattern shot for you Linda Chapman, looks easy to make

I remembered when we made an appt. at the local bank, to go inside the lobby, they said wear a mask, but take off you sunglasses.......

If you tell me don't do it, I JUST MUST.
the photo uploaded and this song popped in my head..
Now I am the MadDapperSnapper

If I mugged you, would you recognize me??????????????

Judy in disguise..... you may know it.. HERE it is on Youtube

Judy in disguise, what you aiming for?
A circus of a-horror, yea yea, well that's what you are
You made me a life of ashes
I guess I'll just take your glasses

Songwriters: Andrew Bernard, John Fred

I love it, so clever!! And I remember the song well. Sorry you couldn't get black, but this one is so YOU! Reminds me of the seventies, I used to make tie-dyed t-shirts.

that#s much much better than the common masks... and much better than the diy mask of the mama LOL

Love it! I would recognize you anywhere. Fun and post! You keep them so fresh even when you say you don’t know what to say :)

Tie dye is very in right now. Mask designs have gotten very clever but I still would prefer to not have to wear one.

I have a few of these...similar, but cut is different. And I agree, easier to breathe thru them.

Now that red hat is awesome!!!

Hello,

I like your pretty new mask. Do your glasses steam up? Sorry, I do not remember the song. Have a great day!

I love it and I need one just like it, that is the exact one I would chose :)

Technicolor/tie dyed...I love it. I heard something on the news last night about eye docs saying so many patients are complaining of dry eyes.
Evidently the culprit is the mask. When we breathe the air has no where to go but up and the exhaled breath goes into the eyes drying them out.
They recommend mask that pinch the nose or at least don't allow air to travel up. Your new one might be the answer.

My big deal with masks is they are hot, and fog up my glasses. I do like the tie dye effect on this one and the fact that it looks cooler!

try putting your glasses on over the top of your mask! Glasses won't fog!

I'd have wanted black, too... but the tie-die looks really good with your complexion. (If I wore that green, someone would think I was dying and start digging a hole.) Chucking about the glasses. You and my DIL! I think it was March our banks began putting up a big sign on their front doors: "No hats, no sunglasses, no entry." Aside from when she's home, Lois wears oversize sun hats/ball caps and HUGE sunglasses everywhere.

PS - I didn't think Wal-Mart still had greeters. Ours disappeared last year, right around the holidays and I thought WM had done away with that job.

The mask reminds me of the tie-dyed products in the 60s and 70s.
Have a great week!!! xo Diana

It looks great and you may breath better but unless it is very dense cotton or double layer the moisture droplets get in so protection is weak but you pass for obeying the mask wearing rule. We use the surgical type as cloth of double layer are worse.Nice pics. Walmart is nearby but I have not been since COVID. I manage Costco once a month and a local grocery store that is small but has what we use. We manage a mall walk and saw very few people but no one got entry without a mask and use of hand sanitizer at entry. Buddy enjoyed strolling to see familiar shops but some remained closed. Likely many will go as gov. suppler is lifted end of September.

Well if nothing else it should scare off people from coming anywhere near you... ;) lol

A stylish alternative. I've lost track of how many I have made for myself and others of different styles but I still find the disposable are the easiest to breath through. And the width of the nose wire affects the glasses steaming. The wider the tighter; the better.

My question is were they are on display with a mirror for trying on? Then it can be put back on the rack for the next person to try. Being sarcastic here but that has been known to be happening in some stores.

You look simply Mahvelloss.......oh well, you get the idea.
Hope that kind will work for you.
Something to pinch at the nose really helps with things not getting steamy.
Sorry, I guess I have lived under a rock...the song isn't familiar at all but it's perfect for your post today.

I like the tie-dye it really suits your personality. One thing, I wonder -- does is hang down on your chest? It sounds like there's something special about it, but I didn't get it. Dumb Swede, that I am.

Very nice. I own about 7 masks and came across one online similar to what you have on. I thought the same thing, I would be able to breath better!! I didn't buy it but I should have.

Prettier than blacks masks with skull's teeth. Those give me the willies.

I am VERY interested in these! I may have to order one so I can figure out how to make it! I would recognize you anywhere!!!

I wouldn't have any trouble recognizing you from the first picture, but maybe not with your hat on. I'm glad you found a mask you like.
