Just So You Know about DG

INFO YOU MAY NEED TO KNOW!

This photo is the bag from Dollar General. Just so you Know!
First Aid Supplies and Bandages are always cheaper at Dollar General.
I purchased Non Stick 3x4 pads, Rolls of Gauze, Paper Tape and Wraps that stick to themselves
for half the price of Publix and CVS
Google search Dollar General Near Me.. USA only I think.

UPDATE: My 3 wounds are to the itchy place, which means they are healing.
My knee the swelling is down, but my whole leg is throbbing on day 6.
Plus the fall upset my sciatic nerve because I can't do my excercises or walk.
I am OK, just still hurting when I move.
Still not walking precious Beau

Oh no! But at least something is a bit better!! Leg should not be worse and throbbing!

I'm glad some things are healing, but that sucks about the sciatic nerve and the crippling pain. That sucks. 🙁

we hope the swelling goes away and the sciatic nerve takes a break also ... they call it witch shot here... and that's the right name for that...

Wondering if this injury is anything like a broken bone? I know you said nothing is broken, but I'm talking healing time frame...6 weeks.

Take care.

Well I'm glad that things are getting better but sorry that the leg is throbbing. Hoping you are back out there and walking with Beau again soon

I remember my dear old dad saying when I took a tumble, “Well, let’s see if you will feel any better if we put you in a barrel and roll you over Niagara Falls?” Always made me laugh. Sure hope your healing progresses quickly. Sorry to hear about your sciatic nerve on top of everything else.

Painful to read, but nothing like experiencing all this up close and personal. Hope you are back to normal soon. Even hugs must be painful right now.

Hello Sandra,
I am so glad you are healing and feeling better. I hope you are back to normal soon. The sciatic nerve goes back to normal too.
Take care, enjoy your day!

Thank goodness you can see the wounds are healing. I expect the knee and sciatica will be 'screaming' for a while longer.
Hugs Cecilia

Unfortunately, the older we get, the longer it can take to heal, sorry to say, Sandra. Rest up and take good care of yourself until you feel able to walk Beau again.

Well, Beatrice said it... it is a simple fact, healing takes longer than we think on our side of the hill... though if the leg keeps throbbing, I'd be inclined to let the doctor know. Don't want any clots... YAM xx

I sure hope you heal and feel better soon. I know you miss your walks and now the weather is so nice. I never go to any dollar stores but this is good to know! Hugs to you today!

Poor baby - but I guess itching is a good sign.

Good to hear you're itchy! When I was a kid and my parents told me that meant it was healing, I thought they were nuts. Sciatica is the worst! BTW, I took a chance on different pain reliever, Voltaren (power of advertising) -- and LOVE it.

Wish I'd thought about Dollar Tree last month. The wooden ramp Tom was standing on broke -- resulting in him getting a long ugly gash in his leg which required lots of steri pads and gauze.

Sandra, I'm glad things are getting better. You really banged yourself and it does take time to heal.
I know how much you miss walking Beau. Hopefully that will happen agin really soon. Keep an eye on the throbbing in your leg..don't want any clots wandering around.
Thanks so much for the update.

I need to look and see if we have a Dollar General around here!!

Glad to hear things are moving in the right direction in your healing process..sending prayers in hopes things speed up a bit.

Take your time and allow the body to heal. Soon you will be as good as new.

Itchy is a good thing, but the throbbing does not sound good at all. Isn't it funny how things are even slower to heal as we age?

I have a Dollar General less than a mile from my house! 7 miles from the ranch camper cabin. I go all the time. Louis Dean is still not a fan.
Praise God you are getting better!! I bet Beau misses you walking him.....

I am very concerned about your leg throbbing and you not walking. I pray that gets better soon. ((Hugs))
