Oh, Give Me The Phone! not a selfie on selfie sunday

Turn it sideways.. push the white button.
Did you push the white button?

You took so long, Beau turned his head away. Beau, look at Daddy
(note my aggravated hand signal)

Take it now, take it now! He did and nearly cut my head off, then there was so much street I had to

Crop IT!

Yes Beau and I live with a man who has no cell phone, never had a camera, hates them in fact.
How could that be???

Oh give me the phone!
I am sure all of you have wondered at on time or the other why our comments on our post don't match with the number of visits to our post each day.
This week I received a card and a letter, via SNAIL mail.  It was from Diane in Franklin TN. She doesn't comment but reads my blog daily. Thank you Diane for the sweet words. She said she loves cards and letters, instead of the new techie stuff.
Hubby said when I read it, who is that from, I said it is from a woman in TN that reads my blog but doesn't comment, she likes snail mail.
His comment was What the ******is snail mail?
Oh Well... Thank you unknown readers....

Oh MS your B and my B try very hard but they just don't have the hand eye coordination we have with cameras/and or phones. Thank goodness your head remained intact.
Love the photos

Thank goodness he eventually took a good photo, showing all of your head and your dog looking our direction. My hubby did not want a cell phone, he broke one while riding his bike and did not get another. Not many people comment on blogs compared to how many read a post. My current post has 430 readers and about 30 comments, less than 10 percent. I love when people comment, even if just to say Hi. And I do love snail mail.

Glad your head didn't get cut off lol. Some people just can't take a decent photo if their life depended on it. Funny that your hubby didn't know what snail mail is, mine probably doesn't either!

Well, I reckon Bob passed his apprenticeship! (Yeah, comments rarely reflect the number of readers - it's like passing folk in the street. How many do you actually spend time with?.. some you just nod and wave - and others are just a glance! YAM xx

Gurl, you and Bob deserve your own sit-com. "I Love Lucy" move over!
I've not received (or sent) a 'just because' snail mail in forever. After I moved from Texas to Florida, my former co-worker and I used to do that ... keeping the Hallmark store in business. Your friend Diane sounds wonderfully thoughtful.

You and Bob are quite a pair.
Life certainly isn't dull!
Well that last photo is pretty good of you two.
Beau looks like he loves the "banter" between you two.. (:0)

I had a reader who never commented as well. ONE time she did, to say who she was and that she doesn't comment, then never again. Bob must not like tech because he doesn't know how to use it. But amazingly, the end result picture is real good!!

Lovely photo of you and Beau and your husband just crackes me up. For a guy who doesn't like techie stuff you would think he would know what snail mail is haha, too funny. I grew up with sending thank you notes, my mother taught us well so to this day I respond with a 'snail mail' thank you.
Happy Sunday!!

Well, I think the photo turned out pretty good - with a little handiwork.

I love the pictures, he did a good job or did you fix them? I have a lot of known unknown readers who don't want to sign up with Google. Who can blame them? So I get comments over the phone or in emails. But never in a snail mail. And I just love that Bob had no idea what a snail mail is. I guess you first have to know what an email is in order for it to make sense. My Errol was the same way, he had a flip phone, that was the extent of his tech stuff.

He did pretty good if he doesn’t use a phone usually.

I like all of the pictures because you and the pup are in them.

How did your reader know your address?

The photos turned out great! I crop too much street out also. I know someone who doesn’t like cell phones.

I like the pictures. I get to see you and Beau together. Wade was never very good at taking pictures which is why I was the one who always took them.
I thought everyone knew what snail mail was.

I like them both...soeciallybwith Beau facing forward.

Every now and then I get little comments about why dorsnt Roger have a cell phone...people just do not realize he cannot even answer a real phone. Let alone a cell phone.

LOL!
That's really something to get a letter instead of a comment.

Glad that Bob did finally get the picture of you and Beau so that we could as well, Sandra. He’s not alone in disliking techie things as sometimes I am not fond of them myself because in many ways they displace personal contact. That said, these days they have been a godsend to many who would not be able to connect any other way. Of course, there’s always snail mail and I am a big fan which is why I will continue to send cards and notes and even letters, even if they are typed on the PC these days.

LOL! Well, I will read AND comment on your blog AND add your blog to my list on my own blog. Found you via Martha's blog (Seaside Simplicity). Happy to meet you, Sandra! (My name is Diana and I live in Kansas.) Beau is a very handsome fellow. *cyber pets Beau* Good boy. :)
