Look at me, I am 6'3".
I stepped on the stool to reach something on the shelf and realized I was looking down on the top of the fridge and that the kitchen looked really strange from that view point.
I got down and grabbed the measuring tape and measured the stool height, and did a little math finding that I was almost as tall as my son Dan who is 6'4'', my other son is 6'2" and the stool makes me
6'3''
Bob watched in amazement as I held my cell at my eye height, then held it at Beaus canine height.
He said WHAT are you doing?
Perspective I said, I never realized how different things look for tall people and people in wheel chairs, which is the same as Beaus point of view. And I can't reach the top of the stove or the sink.
He said, Well Daniels arms are twice as long as yours.
If you are wondering about the raised fist, I was signaling my cell phone that was propped on the vase on the kitchen table.
Later that day, noticing the flowers were on the edge of the table, not the center
I said to Bob. Did you move the vase of flowers?
he said NO, You Did!
Don't you remember propping your phone on it?
OH YES! NOW I remember.
what a difference 9 inches makes in my view of my home, which means I need to clean the top of the fridge in case a really tall visitor comes.

to change the view from time to time is a super good thing, you notice things you never saw before ;O) like your stool... I have a cheap plastic beast for the closet, can not count the fall-in-tins-days I had with it LOL
Another fun post. Thank you... I'm still smiling. 😊 ❤️
Don't fall!! So after making a fist toward your camera, was it offended?
Well look at you moving up in the world :) I would try this at home but I'm afraid of what I might see on top of my refrigerator.
I have the same capris.

Yeah. Count me closer to Beau's height... never mind a step stool, I have ladders to reach things! YAM xx
Ha! on the top of the refrigerator. Now I can't remember the last time I cleaned ours.
Great example of perspective. I never thought about those confined to a wheel chair. Years ago I saw something on television filmed from a dog's perspective. No wonder at the end of the day they so enjoy their neck massages!
Your perspective experiment is interesting. I like your stool with the handiest handle frame.
Sandra, thanks for reminding me that I need to clean the top of the fridge, which is not a favorite task. I will be hauling my step-stool from the pantry later today.
I bet Bob thought you'd lost your mind during your experiment lol!
I have my hubs clean mine - he can do it standing! lol
Kudos to finding adventures all around you and sharing with this less adventurous reader!
F comes from a family (on her Dad's side) with duck's disease (backside close to the ground). She inherited those genes. On her mum's side she has a family of 4 male cousins over 6 feet tall - the tallest 6'7" - and never before thought about their perspective on life. She sometimes shares my perspective much closer to floor level, but that is easy for people with low centre of gravity like hers.
Well, you won't have to clean the top of the fridge on my account...I'm only 5'2"...It's definitely a different view point.
It's always fun to come here to see what adventures are at your house.

Very cool! I could not get on a stool to save my life! I love your capri leggins, and have not seen them at WM. If I do, of course I will buy them!
No need to clean the higher spots, I am down to under 5 feet. Yes, I have shrunk and really notice it when trying to reach the upper shelves.
There is a lot of height on both sides of our peeps' families. Mom would love to drop a few inches from her legs so she wouldn't have to always hunt for the long legs in pants:) But,yes, it is fun seeing things from a different perspective. Just don't look too closely for the dust on the top of the fridge or the cabinets:)
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
It's always fun to see things from a different point of view!
You know you do look great in the picture. I know you still want to lose more weight but you look wonderful. I like you step stool. I'm definitely shorter that you and need the three step later to reach things.
