HEADS UP for you.
twice this past week, I have received phone calls from 2 people saying they received a call from my home phone number to their cell phone. We made no calls.
I researched and this is called spoofing. I went to this site to read up on it and that led me to report this to the FCC HERE that someone is spoofing my phone number. It will not stop it from happening but will make a record that you reported it, in case someone does something illegal using your phone number. The only way to stop is change phone number. NOT for me
More Aqua Houses, have appeared in the Village.

F learned to drive in a somewhat less derelict version of a truck like that when she was about 6 years old. She was too small to reach the accelerator so her Dad and uncle put a hand throttle on the steering colomn. The technique was: slide under the steering wheel and press the clutch, put it in first gear (long gear stick coming out of the floor), reach up and open the hand throttle, ease out the clutch and clamber back up onto the seat. She and her smaller brother used to feed sheep after school while their Dad worked off the farm on building an area irrigation scheme.
the mama said the same about the traktor ;O))) we hope the spooky spoof will have an end soon... that is super annoying...
Wow, the house, sunflowers, and truck are awesome! Each element in itself is snapworthy, but alltogether, they have created a piece of art with their house and yard. I have never heard of this phone thing, how annoying!! As if telemarketers aren't bad enough.
I forgot to ask, what IS the huge tree-like plant in your header? I have never seen anything like it, it looks like something man made or out of science fiction.
Thanks for the heads up. We’ve had our phone number for almost 47 years. Like you, I ‘m not about to change it!
I like the porch railing on the very first home shown.
The truck with the sunflowers is a great yard decoration but I don't know that I would want that truck sitting in my front yard.
I've heard of that happening with phone numbers. Caller ID is pretty much useless since people are able to make it look like the call is coming from another number.
Hello,
I love the sunflowers, they would not last in my yard. The critters would run off with them. I notice the aqua color can look different to me, the first house color is my favorite.
I do not answer any calls from unknown numbers, if it is important they can leave a message and I will return the call. Have a happy 4th of July weekend!

In OZ I have seen old trucks like this actually used as planters, the whole tail-trunk and sometimes engine cavity and cabins filled with fabulous foliage and flowers. This does look good though, with the tall sunflowers. YAM xx
I've never heard of spoofing, thanks for letting us know about it. What kind of thrill would people get out of doing that? Like the truck and the sunflowers too but the first house is my favorite of all the homes.
Never mind the house ...I want that truck and sunflowers, too! So clever and like, Americana.
We had that spoofing thing happen to us twice in Arizona ... only in reverse. Tom gets so rattled about things like that. I called Verizon and got a nice, sympathetic rep who explained it all. She said, they're trying to stop it, but like whack-a-mole it keeps popping up. No way I want to change my number.
Very artys area that color does seem to be IN currently.
Oh don't even get me started on phone calls. Thank goodness our landline has a feature called 'quiet mood'. We can set it for 12 hours, calls come in we see it light up but it doesn't ring. We can check messages in a 12 hour period w get as many as 10 a day. If it is someone we know they leave a message. What really gets my goat is sometimes the display screen says we are calling ourselves.
Ok just got the first of our daily calls. I'll set it to quiet now.
Hugs and Happy 4th
Cecilia
I love that old truck with the sunflowers. Sorry to hear about your spoofing. I have never heard of that before. Thanks for the heads up!
I love the truck with the sunflowers too.
Have a great weekend!
What a wonderful idea...to use the old truck as a sunflower planter!! I want one too!
Now that's what I call aqua village...
I do like that first one though.
The truck and sunflowers is quite a display..I do like their stars and stripes.

Some of these are really quite nice, especially the old truck.
I want that truck and those sunflowers too!!!
I love aqua houses. The first picture and that palm tree is gorgeous! I am going to save your article on spoofing! Thanks.
Love the houses. So sorry about the phone issues. I'm so tired of all the calls on the house phone and the cell phones. Glad you reported it.
