A couple of months ago, I showed my breakfast on a post with Bob's Breakfast on it. like the plate above.
Two of you asked where I bought them. the answer was Chutney Corelle Wear, and I got them at Wal-Mart, but that was about 30 years ago.
thinking they might show up as Vintage, I searched and found that each of my plates is worth 23.99 which is more than I paid for a set of 6.
If Only I had the whole set I could sell it and buy new plates because by now I am tired of them.
Now tell me why I did not buy the whole set back then and look what I could get.
Below is one of my other set of 6 plates,
Same story as above. I found these photos on Replacements LTD, if I wanted to buy more, I would have to pay for one more than I paid for 6.

Very pretty! That’s quite a jump in price. Thanks also for this company’s name. I will enjoy looking.
Yes our stuff and ourselves are becoming antiques. Ha Ha
now we know why china ware is called the white gold ;O)

Always good to find that one could be considered to have 'an eye' and good taste in tableware!!! YAM xx
Wow, that's an expensive replacement. I had a set of Corelle Wear back when I was first married to my ex husband. Mine weren't as pretty as yours though.
It's still fun to see our old dishes & prices to pay these days.
Oh, I love either set! But I will pass at that price.
I do so love Corning and Corelle. The plate and cups I featured on my Saturday post are Corelle. I love them
It was a set of 4 cups and lunch size plates. We use them for snacks

Well sell them in lots and see what bids you get! I bet plenty of folks will be interested! I know what you mean about getting tired of patterns. I got tired of my "everyday" pattern after my first marriage but boy oh boy I wish I had it all back now! But at the time, I was sick of seeing strawberries every meal!
Love Corelle dishes. I have 1 set that I bought back in the dark ages. It's boring but boy does it wear and wear and wear. The other set we bought at an estate sale 15 years ago and still have them too.
Can't hardly afford something new now.
I really like that pattern you have.
Ok, on my way to my friends house for the day.

They are pretty Sandra! Same thing happened to my silverware - not real silver, but a set I liked for years. We have the habit of throwing forks away here. One fork was $30 and I don't think I paid that much originally.
Replacements LTD is WAY overpriced!!!
Wow, they are beautiful, and I remember them! I have Corelle too, of course. Because they look like china, and I BREAK things. At the time, you just never know what to save.
They are very pretty. How interesting what they are worth.
Sounds like you have two options (1) sell them one plate at a time on ebay (2) swap them with someone who has a different pattern on the same high quality corelle ware and is tired of their own regular plates. (& 3. start a plate swap website.....)
We stick to plain white these days but it has always been my dream to have a cupboard full of non-matching plates bought one at a time in second hand shops and yard sales- every plate a story.
Oh my! I would never have expected corelle dishes to become that expensive. Maybe I should have kept some of that old stuff after all.
I never heard of that site, but will be checking it out. I can't remember what my old set is/was called -- a few pieces still remain in a closeted box -- but would recognize it in a heartbeat.
Wow! That's quite a jump in price. You clearly have great taste. 😊 ❤️
