Wolf Spider has crossed the river Styx

this is a recreation and yes, there was harm done in the swatting of the spider

On Sept 5, 2021 with the combined efforts of Jack Bob The Giant Spider Killer and  His Wife the Mad One, the giant spider that was last seen under the pink chair in the bedroom, as reported to you a few days ago, has been swatted to smithereens by Bob and quickly sent over the River Styx by the mad woman of the house who used  a tissue to pick him up. She flushed TWICE for just in case!

Said spider was spotted by the Mad one while making up the bed Wed at 4 am, who then risked life and limb and dizzy spells, while screaming/running down the hall for The Giant Spider Killer to

come QUICKY ITS CLIMING UP THE WALL Behind the pink chair, in the corner, over there, CANT YOU SEE HIM???

If anyone of you is questioning WHY said Mad Woman did not smash the spider herself, the answer is Wolf Spiders are capable of JUMPING LONG DISTANCE! No way would I get close enough to swat it.

HE HAD BEEN THERE FOR DAYS AND NIGHTS WHILE I WAS SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!!!

Does he have a spouse? are there any children?  Yes I am thankful on Thankful Thursday that I have Bob to kill the spiders. What Would I do If I lived Alone? Noooooooooooo

I just KNNEW he was staying in your bedroom! Thank goodness he finally came out, and met his DOOM!! I can't stand to kill spiders even when they don't jump, I have arachnophobia.

we better don't think about the family of Spiderman.... it would cause sleepless nights here....

So glad to hear the spider has been removed. I would have a hard time sleeping knowing it was crawling around in there somewhere.

What a relief. At least for a while. But, then you had to bring up the Mrs. & offspring!!

Hello,

I am glad the spider is gone, you can sleep in peace now!
I have been known to use the fly swatter if needed.
Take care, enjoy your day!

Whew I am so glad to read that the spider met his demise and hopefully has left no family behind. My nemesis are wasps, and I will go and call Grenville to do away with any. Thankfully, it has been years since that has been necessary since we left an old home for an apt with no attic.

You would find someone like Sarah.. she rescues them and takes them outside. Lol. But true. The spiders I mind are those pale greenish-yellowish ones. I dont know why but they give me the creeps.

I hate when something like that gets INSIDE but I'm glad it's gone! Hugs to Bob! He's my hero!

In my humble opinion the words WOLF and Spider should never be used together. My mind's eye pictures a great big head with pointed ears and lots of fuzz on his 8 legs
Hugs and Yay for saying bye bye

What a relief! I'm loving your recreation.
Now I'm wondering if there are wolf spiders in Alabama. Yikes!

You are a HOOT Sandra. Glad he came out and you got him. My daughter is like you!

Hello Sandra, Bob was heroic. Neither I or my late husband could kill a spider, but Americo used to cover spiders with a large glass, then slide a piece of paper underneath, hold it in place, then take it outside and let the spider crawl out, some place far from the door

I dislike spiders inside the house, especially if they are large ones, but what I hate more, are the centipedes, which I spray until they stop moving. I'm sorry you were scared, My reaction would have been the same, Now I'll have to try the glass and paper remedy, cos I just can't kill a spider!!

I'm glad the spider has been assassinated and I went back to read how you discovered him and then didn't know where he was. Oh, horror, says I, since I don't like them either. But you told me about the plugins for the mice and some insects too. I have them now everywhere in my house. I've not seen a mouse since, no spiders, no other creepy crawlies none. And I used to have a fair amount of spiders and other bugs come in the house. Flies are the only things that show up and not very many of them either. We'll see now that it's getting colder, they usually all come in the house. If they don't the plugins work. Are you not using them? Or do they not work for everything? That spider was horrible looking.

Phew! Good riddance :) We have no dangerous spiders here, but I'm still afraid of them, so totally sympathize...

I am pretty sure that if you had no alternative, you would have killed it yourself. Glad this one is gone.

I'm glad it is gone. I am the spider killer in our house.

Oh Wowza...What a SCARY experience. I'm like you, screaming and yelling, "You Kill It" cause I'm so afraid the spider is going to attack me, Jumping on me, or whatever. If it had babies, they are now gone-ners! Now you can sleep at night without worry..Keep saying to yourself, there are no more spiders, living in this room. NO MORE!!!!!
