The yellow ones are like little sunrises in a pot.
Yep - they resemble old-fashioned roses like my Grandma used to grow. These days everyone thinks of a tea rose when you say 'rose'.
I'm with Nobby... they are a part from childhood in granny's garden... a sweet memory....

They resemble the old world, English, roses. I don't recall seeing multiple petaled moss roses. You and I both shared garden/ yard flower blogs today

Just lovely. I've decided I want yellow flowers in my hanging baskets this summer.
Sandra - it turns out we have some seeds of portulaca. F bought them back in the winter and hasn't sown them yet. probably too late now - stupid woman.
