A couple of weeks ago, Bob went to the dermatologist without me, the first time in 38 years of marriage.
He came home with a goodie bag.
His arms and legs have been a mess, he has had poison ivy for 3 months now that just would not go away, 3 trips to derm doc and 1 to his primary.
She said it was better, and that she thinks it is something else and to use All for washing clothing and bathe only with the Vanicream in the box below.
It is
Gentle Body Wash,
free of dyes, fragrance, masking fragrance,
free of lanolin, parabens and formaldehyde.
Sulfate free
gluten free
soap free
leaves skin sooooo soft..
I had no idea all that stuff is in Soap!
She gave him that large tube of Cetaphil and he has been using it twice a day on his Alligator Skin and so have I.
The Body wash is doing wonders for my face, NOT the wrinkles but it feels so good, and they do not aggravate my scent allergies.
We are now the proud owners of
a 12 once bottle of Vanicream and a Cetaphil for my own self.
I got them from Amazon, but they have them other places also.
He takes the little tubes to the YMCA to use in the shower, and we have a big bottle in our shower.

I’m glad it works for you. Thank you for telling us about it. ❤️
Sorry to hear about Bob but thank you so much for sharing this. I am going to order some as soon as I can!
hugs and potp to your BOb and thanks for the idea.. we will look if we can get it in ole europe LOL
It has a small amount of steroids...Not for me. Hope it's works miracles for Bob tho
The Cetaphil I've heard of but the vanicream is a new one to me. When I read the name of it I thought it would be one of those wrinkle creams.

There are quite a lot of similar creams; the two big ones here in the UK are E45 and Cetraben. I like the first... but am terrible at remembering to use the stuff! YAM xx
We have been using All firvyears.. the free and clear. And Roger uses the Vani cream hand cream...I did not realize they made shampoo and body wash though!
We have sensitive skin and I use Curel fragrance free lotion but I'm going to look at these products now. Thanks for sharing!
I have the body wash in my wish list now! Thanks!
I had skin/contact allergy tests years ago because of patches of red on my legs.
I am allergic to these 3 formaldehyde, urea and Quanterium (I'm not sure this is the correct spelling but very close). And I'm allergic to all insect sprays that repel insects.
I can use one by Avon but it's effect is short lived.
I was told the farther down the ingredient list it that meant less of the ingredient in the product.
Hugs Cecilia
I use that All Free and Clear and the Vanishing cream. I have sensitive skin too. Gosh Bob went all by himself and did great.
Good to know! Presently, I use Gain detergent with no strange effects ... but remembering that mystery angry rash on my leg, I'll keep All in mind.
My derma doc back in Arizona advises her patients to buy a tub of Vanicream and keep in the refrigerator for sunburns. It was far too thick for my liking, but I may look out for the shower body wash. My legs have become so rough and scaly, it's ridiculous.
Wow, that's fantastic that you were given some good advice and new things for your sensitive skin.
Yippee for Bob going to the DR. alone..and that he keeps using the skin stuff.
I might get some of that body wash for Dave and I too.
Good t know about the ALL Free and Clear. That will be my next purchase I think.

I really like Cetaphil and use there lotion. I also like Cerave for all my face cream needs. I'll have to check out Vanicream, thanks for the heads up!!
Those sounds extremely interesting. I am going to check them out on Amazon.
It's great when you find products that are really helpful and glad to read that these are working for you both, Sandra.
It's so cool when you find something that actually works!
