Victory Forest on Nature Friday

Above is the is the entrance to Victory Forest.

The Plague states.

Victory Forest
A living legacy
Honoring The Troops of
Operation Desert Storm
And all those
Who have served America
Planted and Dedicated
April 27, 1991
and a contains a list of contributors who funded the
memorial.

There are hundreds of beautiful trees, and our Dog Beau and I inspected every tree in the couple of acres forest.
We walked the forest at daybreak, and I went back at 10 AM to get photos of the trees.
This Memorial is in Bray Park. Bray has 140 acres.
We have been going there for years. the label Bray Park has 39 posts .

These are new, because we never walked behind the skateboard park and this was our first walk through it.
the Park is large enough it would take a couple of hours to cover all the trails and sidewalks.
A few more photos coming soon.

Hello,
The plaque is nice, it is great that the park/forest is a memorial for our service men. A pretty place for a walk. I hope you are feeling back to normal. Take care, have a great day!

Victory Forest is absolutely beautiful all the trees and spots of sun playing with the leaves. Thank you and Beau for sharing this memorial spot

What a great tribute! Since my son was in Desert Storm, I'm especially appreciative. Love the boulder -- is it real, do you suppose, or man-made?

Okay, I'm putting Bray Park on my list. Someday!

You have so many great places to walk and scope out the sights.
I can imagine that you and Beau had to discover every tree..that's what dogs do..(:0)
Glad to see a post from you. I do hope you are feeling better.
Miss our blog conversations.

Hi Sandra :=)
I just learnt you haven't been feeling well, so sorry, I'm sure the walk did you good. It's a
lovely place to honour those who fought in Desert Storm. Your photos of the trees are lovely.
I'm trying to catch up with my faithful followers but it's taking me a long time because with Pedro being here I feel more energy depleted than usual.
