In Memory of Rocks-Ann Paul

Rocks-Anne is the daughter of my mother's 1st cousin, Lois. She passed away at age 73 after 7 years of Alzheimer's. My Cousin Bonnie and I went to her Memorial Service this past Saturday.
The church was beautiful, the music stirred my soul.
The first song the Pianist played was this one.
Surely, the Prescence of the Lord is in this place with lyrics. Here

Wow, what a church! It is gorgeous. I have never heard this hymn before. It must have been even more beautiful hearing it in that church.

Sorry for your loss she went too young. I've just been skipping through your posts. The traffic there looks horrendous. It is getting worse here too with more people pouring into Queensland, but nothing like you describe. I have a cousin Bonnie too. She turned 93 today. She lives in USA but not sure which state now. She lived in California for ages but I think she lives with her son or daughter now. She's a bit further away than your cousin Bonnie.

What a magnificent sanctuary! It looks like something you might see in a European capital, doesn't it? I could see myself instinctively sitting up straighter, shoulders back.

Not since 2002 when I moved to Arizona have I heard that song. The band at my former church in Clearwater used to play that every Sunday. Thanks for the memories!

What a tragedy to get this terrible illness at such a young age. The church is so beautiful and the service, the music touched your heart and soul, that's so meaningful too. I'm sorry for your loss.

I haven't heard that song in years. Its so beautiful and I'm sure it was extra lovely in that magnificent church.
I'm glad you could go to the service too. It recharges the soul sometimes.
