Lovely post in memory of your mama. Women have come a long way but there is still some ways to go especially in other countries.
So now we know where you inherited your beautiful smile from. Interesting magazines 1923 looks way more allyring than those that followed altho 2023 is back on track for allure. Amazing you all chose this date and your Mum accidented on it in birth. At least no one could claim to forget and you could all have one big party each year.
(Rhubarb by the way is a vegetable, the stems of which are stewed up and eaten for pudding/dessert - often with custard. You were on the right track with the custard. Rhubarb and Custard are also a kids' TV cartoon.)
Ps actually the TV cartoon is Roobarb & Custard (a cat and a dog)

An interesting historical account revealing the changes that have occurred over such a brief span of time, barely the blink of an eye in the annals of the Earth. Change is happening so rapidly now it’s impossible to keep up with it. Hard to figure out what new and radical changes AI might inflict upon us in the very near future - day by day, almost.
What a great touch, peppering this post with magazine covers we (most of us) can identify with. When I look back at old photos and read the dates scribbled on the back, I never put two-and-two together. I think they call this a bio timeline?
I love this image of your pretty mother, smiling down on you from Heaven. So many Red Letter days ... someone once called them "Silent Anniversaries of the Heart" and I like that.
