Today is Pet Memories Day. This is Max, our first dog, born in 1985. He danced with Daddy, had his own Dallas Cowboy shirt and watched every Game on daddy's lap. Max stood at the back door begging for a ballgame and took his first bath in the tub with Daddy.
After Max chewed 1 each of 5 pairs of my dress shoes, we left him in the bathroom while we went to work. The next day, Bob built the homemade pen out of scrap woods because Max ate a hole the size of his head through the bathroom door. He was crated for 5 hours day 4 days a week and after 1 year, he never needed a crate again.
Precious Memories! We had him for 16 years of Love.
The poor-quality photos are scans from way before digital photos that are in an album.
today is also HUG YOUR PET DAY and that is on Beaus Blog today.
None of our 6 dogs that owned us in the past 38 year, will ever be forgotten, they have their owned memory wall in our kitchen, we look at them every day and remember the fun and love.
Below is the Memory Wall over Bobs workbench. All 6 dogs are there, right along with Dale Earnhardt, all of them watched every race he ran, laying on their daddy.

I enjoyed looking at these old photos. What a story about Max!
I just love the idea of a memory wall and it says as much about you guys as it does about your pets that you have such an extensive collection of memories. Mzx is a lovely colour and had beautiful eyes (mind you most furr friends have beautiful eyes). It's the eyes that get us....

Smiling through my tears!
I loved every word of Max's naughty phase and especially that image of he and Bob in the bathtub. ALL dogs should be so fortunate.
Such a sweet post and Max sounds like such a precious character.
Great series of pictures and touching memories.
That's so sweet! ❤️
