Wal-Mart New Look!

Our re-modeled Wal-Mart has a new look. The displays are pretty and did make me want to buy some of the items, but I rather have cheap merchandise in that space. The items they are displaying are expensive.
Makes me wonder how much the milk, eggs and bread went up to pay for someone to decorate.

Ours looks like this, too. I think most of them are remodeling. I posted the remodeling awhile back. But I did not post a photo of this kind of display. I did not check the prices on it, so I didn't know that the featured items were so much more expensive! No wonder they want to make them look as good as possible, and make them stand out from the rest!

I haven't been in a WalMart in years. Our closest one is about 50 minutes away, and we used to go regularly. I do order some things online from them.

it looks super great... and very noble now... we still have the chaos decorations in our stores, so we could pay a new washer, no price explosions here LOL

Hello,
The store's display do look pretty. I hope they do not raise prices to help pay for their new remodeled store. Take care, have a great day!

This display style has been in use here for some time. I've never been tempted to buy because of them...YAM xx

You mention Walmart so often in your posts that they should put you on the payroll! You must have shares in the company, surely!

I guess I have that to look forward to...

Hi Sandra:=)
I'm with Eileen on this. I hope you don't have to pay more for your shopping because of these displays. I had to smile at Davids remark!

Wow ... for a minute there I thought that first photo was taken in Target, not WM. The dinnerware looks like the Joanna Gaines/Magnolia something or another product line they feature. A bit pricy, yes -- but consider the timing just before Christmas.

Ours haven't remodeled yet...unless all the holiday decorations count lol

I'm sure that this is coming to our Super Walmart too. Its pretty and a good way to suggest how things go together and that Walmart is "your one stop" store.
Sometimes its nice to see how something looks completely instead of in a package all folded up, but I don't know if it will entice me to buy more.
I laughed at David's remark about you and the store stock..

Wow, you are really sharp to spot my T-shirt! I wear it every year, and have been wearing it to go to different places this month. Always think of you when I put it on. W.M. has nothing like it this year. But maybe we can find a Christmas one??

I think they aren't getting taller, but I am getting shorter.

They haven't done that here yet. I guess I have this to look forward to in the future. I hate when they remodel. It looks like they are trying to be a high end department store. I remember back when Walmart first came in they talked about how they would be an affordable place to shop.

Interesting. I rarely go to Wal Mart so I'm not sure if our local one is doing this or not.

They are lovely displays. Target does some like that.

Prices at walmart have increased by at least one to three dollars per item, since the epidemic hit 4 yrs ago now. Its unreal. Dee

The displays look very nice but I hope they stay being the store with affordable prices, especially in this day and age.
