we awoke Saturday morning January 6th, to the above radar! I shop at 6 am. This was about to come on shore, I stayed home. It boomed and flashed and winds were almost a tropical storm and gave us 2 and 1.4 inches of badly needed rain. All in a little over 4 hours. I called out for Pizza to be delivered and after we ate we went in the back yard to THIS!
Pop over to see how it affected Beau...
Blue skies smilin' at me
Nothin' but blue skies do I see
Bluebirds singin' a song
Nothin' but blue skies from now on

That’s amazing! I am glad you got some much needed rain but those blue skies and being able to eat your pizza next to your pool, that’s icing on the cake.
Now that sounds like a perfect daY.
I would love some blue skies...
Hello,
It is good you had some much needed rain. It is best to stay indoors while these storms are happening. We had a bad one yesterday, places are flooded due to the high tides in Baltimore and Annapolis. We did need the rain here, our reservoir was getting too low. Take care, have a great day!
You’ll be praying for another storm!

In tropical places, rain is a delight... As long as there's no damage. The air always feels cleansed... YAM xx
Those blue skies are so much better, always!
We had a WHOPPER of a storm here last night the rain was falling every which way but down and the wind they call Mariah was a blowin'. Gauge has 2.3" in it but I expect we had much more

Pizza and blue skies ... who could ask for anything more?!
We had one of the worst storms I can remember night before last. Lots of flooding but thankfully, most of the tornados went south of Montgomery. They were predicting wind gusts up to 70mph and I was sure one of the big trees would come crashing down on my car or the sunroom.
I was already asleep last night, but Tom said there were high winds again -- when I opened the front drapes a little while ago, I saw my car cover had been ripped off.
There is nothing like seeing the clear blue skies after a storm!
It is beautiful. You live in a tropical paradise! We got the same thing on Sunday.
Wow for the contrast!!
The storm does its thing and then you are out by the pool enjoying your lunch...Outstanding.
We are gray and blah again today..Spritzes are in the forecast...
Feeling better and ready to get down to business with our eBay again.
Now off to see how things affected Beau.

Stay safe!
The sunshine looks lovely. So glad you stayed home. Also glad you got some rain.
Seeing this post after my post today makes me want to cry. I will remain positive though.
