Leontien Update again

I am typing this update, I now know not to copy and paste from FaceBook into a post.

Leontiens sister posted this on Leontinens Facebook page.

She started new cancer meds on March 7th, she had side effects of rash, pain and a bit of fever but thought she was ok.
Last Friday her fever went up so we called her doctor what to do. Turned out that she went to Bluffton on Saturday evening. After and x-ray of her lungs and blood test they said she had   pneumonia.

2 days later the doctor over there said the 2 antibiotics had done there job; her lungs were clear and although the fever was not gone they released her.

On Tuesday morning her fever was back big time, her doctor on the phone told us she had to come to Indiana. Leontien had to spend a long day at ER, after 8 hours she finally got a bed at the oncology center.

Yesterday was rought to. they made scans of her brain, tummy, blood tests; put her on a cooling bed, trying to get her more comfortable. Still she was feeling sick all day, fevers still came and went and she was in pain. Later that night she had some fluid in her lungs. Scan of her brain and blood results did not show something wrong.
Luckily last night was not too bad, so she could rest a little. Today more est are on the program, the still don't know what is giving her the fever and pain. More waiting on results. She is having a difficult time, we all hope she will feel better soon.
We will keep you updated, sorry it took a bit long, knowing you are all so worried and feel so much compassion
Hugs Hanneke ( this is what her sister Hanneke posted today on Facebook)

I hate it that she or anyone has to go through something like that! I pray the doctors can figure out what is causing the fevers and her pain. I knew she had cancer but I wasn't sure what kind it was because I am a fairly recent follower of hers and she started getting sick shortly after that. Thanks for the update Sandra.

I am praying for your friend. I am so sorry she is so sick. I hate cancer.
On a lighter note...REALLY the snake post/???? Is that a real snake or a fake one???
I do not like snakes at all. At first I was grossed out when I saw it on your computer keys, but I thought, WOW, Sandra was lucky to get such a good picture :)
Then I thought...OK, it's fake! LOL
