"Can't Ya See? we are starving here, toss us a little fish food, why don't cha?" Geez, Lady, it's only a QUARTER for fist full of food for fish". Drop your quarter in that glass box and PU LEESE give us some fish food."

They won't live that long if you starve them! Did you break down and give them some food?
These are great pictures.

Yes, the world wants to know if you broke down and fed them... The one speaking with his mouth wide open is particularly pathetic looking. I knew dogs could give you a sad look but never thought fish could. ;)

So did you feed those big round mouths? 200 years!!?? You have GOT to be kidding, really! I have a hard time believing that. To me, they have always looked like really big goldfish. Great pictures, don't think I've ever seen fish begging for food before! Did you teach them to roll over?

They won't live 200 years if you don't feed them lady! Of course, I thought they were all posing for the camera. Great shots!

Best,
Bonnie

Hi Sandra, I love seeing the Koi... We saw them --looked just like your pictures---when we visited Garvin Gardens in Arkansas... Somewhere I have photos....

Great set of pictures.

That is amazing - 200 years? So did you feed them? Great shots and great job on the dialogue.

Woe..had no idea they lived that long!! Remember the movie The Incredible Mr Limpet starring Don Knotts..he was staring into the water "I wish I were a fish" lol)) They are pretty. I'd like to turn into mermaid for the day!

I'm amazed at how crystal clear that pond is, it really lets you see the beauty of the koi. When we lived on the other side of the state there were a couple of ponds in public gardens. Too cold on this side of the mountains in the winter months.

Beautiful shots Sandra but did you feed those poor starving creatures??
