This lovely WEED is in Hubby's Bucket Garden, as I admired the shape and color of the leaves while contemplating pulling it OUT of the bucket, I noticed a tiny, little, itty, bitty dragonfly.
This is the same photo cropped to show the baby dragonfly (who knew they came so tiny?)
to view this delicate 1/4 inch critter you will need to use the zoom tool at bottom left of your screen, 200 % should give you
The View. to see what this little guy will look like when he grows up got to SquirrelQueens header

So do not be afraid; you are more valuable than many sparrows (dragonflies). Matthew 10:31

I love the ever elusive dragonfly!! One lovely creature who refuses to hold still for me! How cute Sandra- so biddy!
I'll be back in the morning to check out S.Q's header-
a refreshing sight of green. you have a patient of a saint to capture the dragonfly.
dave here
He is a cute little fellow and so tiny. I'm glad you didn't pull out the weed (which is very pretty by the way) or you might have missed him.
PS, I had changed my header but the dragon fly is back now. He was ginormous compared to this little guy. Thanks for the shout.
You've got a great eye to see and then capture this little critter. Very well done!
That leaf looks a little like a hydrangea leaf. The dragonfly is amazing. I guess I thought they were "born" fully grown!!
I'm taking the camera out later to look for fall color around town. Hope I make it before the big storm that's predicted.
Best,
bonnie
He is so adorable!!! I'm impressed you even saw him. What a little cutie. :o)
Grrrr...I'm getting "Service Unavailable" again this moring!!!!
Love seeing things with the macro lens and/or cropped... We have no idea what we can see --until we look at the TINY things around us...
That baby Dragonfly is precious... I've never seen one so small..
Hope you have a wonderful day.
Hugs,
Betsy
Thanks for dropping by Baysidelife. Don't you just love Meda's photos.
Your tiny dragonfly is wonderful. I would never had seen such a little critter. Well done.
I didn't know they came so small, either! I used 400%. But more to the point, whay were you pulling out hubby's plant, and did you?
What a great eye! How in the world did you spot that? Love the pic!
You're so right, he is a teeny one. I like to get shots of dragon flies when I can too, I just don't get as many opportunities as I would like.
I've called weeds a lot of names in my life but never "lovely" :-)
Such a lovely shade of green, and oh, so dainty Dragonfly, who looks not so dainty when you blow him up ;)
Great shots, as always.
