What's That?

In the corner of our yard, there is a Very Tall cluster of Palm Trees that resemble bamboo, only much bigger around. Yesterday, the dogs kept running over there and jumping up and down. I heard rustling noises all day, but could see nothiing. late last night I almost captured what lives deep in the heartt of the palms.

the fronds between me and that little critter way back in his hidy hole prevented me from getting a clear shot.

Sandra it looks like a squirrel to me. That white underside is a dead giveaway. Have a good Saturday!

Well, these are fabulously mysterious pictures! I like the angle, the light, and the two different ways you have shown us. It is some kind of aquirrel. Do you see many squirrels in Florida? Well, does Florida even have squirrels? Judy will love this!! Keep us posted!

I imagine this critter didn't want to be caught, but you did a good job.

They might be squirrels. I like trying to capture them on film, but haven't gotten a good picture yet.

LOL!! How cute!! That muct be a great place to nest for the winter.

Yes, that post on the snake and lizard is a repost Sandra. Adrian wants to use it for his monthly link and they cannot see it now my blog is set to private so I put it on there for him and his readers. What an inconvenience this is now for everyone!!

If you have flowers from bulbs and they have not been dug up, then your critter must not be a Mississippi squirrel. Cute pix!

Not a mystery, definitely a squirrel. A very squirrely squirrel from the sound of it. It's hard to judge the size but I would guess he is an Eastern Gray, looks too small for a Fox squirrel.

Great catch Sandra, they can be hard to get shots of if they don't want to be seen.
