Will and Kate

Just in case you might not know this Hardy Har Har... Will and Kate GOT MARRIED yesterday.
I watched every moment glued to my set.... Here are my favorite shots of the ceremony that I took with my LOOOOOOOOOOG Distance Telephoto Trans Atlantic Lens.... (better known as my 47 inch HD LCD TV) they looked soooo good in HD....

Only a ring for the bride and I am wondering WHY
UPDATE after 4 commments. i found the history of men and wedding rings. seems Americans are the only ones shocked, since it is an American thing that started 70 years ago and it is common in UK that men do no wear rings. CLICK HERE FOR INFO

Ya Think I should make them a scrap book????  they might not have enough photos......
I am a romantic at heart and just HAD to do this..... Long Live the Future King of England and his bride....
Kate was 29 in January, William will be 29 in June. YES... I did wonder and did ask Google

For those who might care Prince Charles is 62 and Camilla is 63, they both looked older to me. His mother the Queen is 83. Pippa, Kate's sister is 27.... are you groaning yet?????
PS Prince Harry is 26....

Sorry,I deleted the comment, bad spelling.I watched the rerun in the evening and found it quite enjoyable.Kate was gorgeous as expected and William is a handsome young man.I was amused at the hats and wondered how they stay on their heads.

GREAT pictures!!! Wow, you have a bigger T.V. than me, I didn't know you have HD, isn't it great? I wish I could have heard more singing. NO RING FOR HIM, ARRRGH!!! That had somehow not registered with me till you said. Don't English men wear wedding rings? I just read Phil what you said and he said "That's ominous, those monarchs aren't bound by the same things their wives are." We both really liked when the Bishop or whoever he was wrapped both their hands in the fancy cloth and bound them together. 29??!! I had told Phil he was about 22!!! Because it seems just like yesterday Diana was killed and he was a little boy! But really, all their faces looked like they were going to the executioner!!! (the guests) I wonder now if it's because the English are so hidden with their feelings and reserved. HEY, your security word is BLESS, no kidding!!!!!!

Boy he looks like his mother at times. I didn't know that was a thing in the UK about rings. I wouldn't have a problem with it. And I love the name Pippa. I'm naming my next child that. :)

Those a great photos, BTW. Can't imagine taking them off of the television. I've never tried that.

I loved the colour and the historic costumes although at times it looked like one big fancy dress ball. For your information Australian men wear wedding rings.

Your photos are better than some I saw on the internet news. I didn't watch the wedding but I do remember reading something about no ring for Will. They didscussed it and Kate had no problem with it.

My hubby doesn't have a wedding ring, with the work he does it could get caught on a piece of machinery and cause injury.

I think its great to see a younger crowd of royals, they seem to be breaking free of some of the stuffiness.

I thought that I had left a comment yesterday but when coming back it is not here? Oh, well, I was late but did show up in my gown(night gown) and royal homemade hat! To funny. I thought they said that the Queen was 85. News never get their facts right!

that's some zoom lens you have there...lol
I didn't see the wedding but I enjoyed your shots of it. What a beautiful bride. Long story but neither me or my husband wears a wedding ring even though we both have them

I agree with everything you said. I am so happy for them.

Wouldn't it be cool for Harry and her sister to marry?

Can't help the romantic I am.
