I am an award free blog, by personal choice and recently have had several bloggers offer them to me. I hope you do not take it personaly, I just prefer not to participate, my reasons are on the side bar.

But I will tell you Seven things about me you probably do not know
1. I drove a Big Rig, an 18 Wheeler in 1984
2. I talk a LOT now, but in high school, was bashful to the point of not eating in the cafeteria if my friend, Madeline (Mrs Snapper II) was out that day. Now I can eat anywhere with or without people, and talk to strangers every where I go.
3. I refuse to ride a Ferris wheel or roller coaster-high places are not in my vocabulary and Scared Silly of the Dark, since childhood, still AM

4.I LOVE all things from the Wild Wild West and have since early childhood and LOVE books, blogging, beaches in that order.
5. I get very sick on planes and boats, so do not fly or float (the last time I flew was 1984 in a 4 seater, I got so sick the pilot had to tell the Airport we could not hold for 30 minutes, they let us land FIRST) and that was the last time for me
6. I love fast cars and once had a 68 Camaro and a 78 Corvette, now I drive a Saturn VUE
7. I love trains, love riding on trains, and rode them many times from birth to age 28.

You looked daring. Not sure what made you so shy. An 18 wheeler? WOW! I think you ought to try a train ride now and compare it to then.
You sound pretty adventuresome to me!
Are you not the cutest thing! I love those outfits you have on.
Well, I too drove one with my ex-hubby, he was trucker and when I was on vacation from my medical job, I would ride with him. He was long haul all along the east coast. He would let me drive on the highway while he snoozed in the cab or cabin... I forgot what they called the sleeper compartment. I guess its called a sleeper? duh? Anyway, that was fun but scary. Once I was passing a rig around dusk, he let me back in the lane, I blinked my trailer lights and forgot to turn them back on...So down the road I was flyin' with no trailer lights for a few miles till one truck came along side me to tell me I needed to turn them on. I did not have the CB on. You remember CB's?
So gal, What was your handle?
now that was fun...love the photos...
I don't know what to do with those awards either... my blog is just not really made for them although i think it is very sweet from people that they think about me.... it's difficult!
But I LOVE your seven things about you!

It's nice to know more about you! You were a beautiful little girl...so sweet!

Oh, those photos are so sweet. You have the cutest face but those eyes are saying "I wonder what I can get into?"
I'm the same way about awards but I need to put something like this together, I have left several just sitting for too long.
The photos are precious..I enjoyed you sharing that and agree with you as far as those awards go (have said so on my blog too-for various reasons). Again, what a pretty header!(Will be back)
Hey, I posted a comment this morning, and checked to be sure it was there, and it was. Now two hours later, it's GONE!!!!! What's up with THAT?? I was saying that I'm with you on the motion sickness, I used to get real sick on streetcars. and even in your baby picture, you look worried!! You were so CUTE!!!! What happened to the hanger post you were going to do?
You in an 18 wheeler-I should have known : ) Pap drove one for years!!
Driving an eighteen wheeler made me smile....I knew there was spunk in this author :)
What a cute little girl you were, and look so much like you do as an adult....beautiful !

What a pretty baby and a cute little girl! I am one of the few that knows those things about you. I have learned a few things about you since high school!
Love ya, Madeline
Aw... Adorable you are. Train lover, I ride the south shore to the city a lot. :))
You were a very cute baby and little girl.
I have been on a roller coaster once. A Ferris wheel once. NEVER again. Not ever. :)
Hi Sandra, catching up on some past posts and this one was great - adorable photos too. I agree on the no-blogger awards (who really cares anyway?) for us the fun part is psoting and reading comments and reading other folks blogs. WOW you have done a lot of things. You and Grenville have a love of train riding in common. And his hobby is woodworking. We don't have a garage OR basement, so he has his own little shop..outside.
Awww ~ sweet little cherub ~ adorable!

Cute baby pictures! Well good for you that you got over the shyness. I like to keep my feet on firm ground too - and I sometimes get motion sickness even in cars, I do not like them going too fast or on bumpy or curvy roads...
I'm no fan of the typical blog awards either; it is my standpoint that awards should be given 'for free' and not with to-do-lists attached. Never saw the point of long questionnaires either, it's better to just get one question at a time.
