Now I am wondering the purpose of this, it certainly would not keep anything in or out. So then what is the point? Interesting. I love all the black eyed susans! Your downtown post is really quite a study on the effect of color!!!! The black and white looks a bit Victorian, maybe a bit New Orleans. But with color, it looks so clearly Spanish or Mexican!!! Two completely different effects.
It doesn't take much to line things up and fancy 'em up. I think this really adds to the whole effect.

I love this fence...it makes a statement...do not enter...without being over whelming....pretty flowers..yellow flowers are always my favorite..
This fence is just a gentle reminder to enjoy the flowers but keep your big feet out of the beds. Great!

The fence is nice but I really like those pretty flowers. The flowers here are disappearing fast.
I agree with Ginny, the B/W photo in your post below does look like something you would see in New Orleans. But in color it doesn't look the same.
These flowers are growing all along the road side now I googled them and I guess the are black eyed susans. They are beautiful.
