Bucket Garden Weeds

This post has been sitting in my drafts since May 15th, so I decided to finally post it. It kept getting bumped.

Bob's Bucket Garden was full of weeds, I think they were beautiful. It is a good thing I documented them, because now they are GONE to the big Weed Bin in the Sky.

Above is dwarf poinciana in a bucket, below is a small palm tree in a bucket. so where do weeds come from in a BUCKET?

MadSnapper Trivia
I love wild flowers and weeds and all things that grow naturally. I choose wild flowers and weed flowers over cultivated every time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! You and I did good weed posts this weekend. And there are NO weeds, only wildflowers. They are tenacious whatever comes their way, as we should be. The tiny yellow flowers are gorgeous. I like the first picture best because the shadow is much more detailed.

I'm fond of wildflowers too. Much easier to care for. :))

As long as it's green and doesn't have THORNS on it, I'll take it as a gift. :)

Great shots of this weedy flower, so buttery yellow.

I always wondered who originally decided what was a weed and what was a wild flower. Weeds are pretty too!

Great post!

I agree with you. I think we need to come up with a better name than weeds. You and your camera can make everything look beautiful.

I always say weeds are flowers in their everyday clothes (or vice versa, flowers are weeds in their Sunday clothes).

My boys made many a bouquet from your bucket garden weeds.
There was always a handful of the yellow flowers in a tiny vase on my windowsill. Unfortunately they never lasted very long but it was the thought anyway.
I love your bucket garden with the assorted plants. Florida and plants just go together.

What's that old saying?? One man's weed is another man's flower...or something like that. Love that yellow in those "flowers"!

I think the weed seeds get planted or dropped by birds many times. Or float through the air. I think quite a few weeds are pretty! Love your shots.

Glad you saved the post and shared. I took some weeds to work one time in a vase. They were very pretty. But I forgot to check for bugs. Duh, me.

You know, I think about trying to get rid of the dandelions in my yard, but I swear, when you really look at them, they are beautiful.

I don't mind weeds at all. As a matter of fact I'm much better at growing weeds than I am anything else :)

What delicate little yellow flowers. I have lots of "wildflowers" here, too.

Love the yellow blossoms and the lush foliage. Wild and wonderful post and observations!

I would consider the little yellow blooms to be wildflowers. They look a lot like Rattlesnake weed, related to sunflowers. That's one weed I might not have pulled.
