Schefflera

Our Schefflera Tree got so tall it is in the top of the pine tree. this is the red bloom it gets once a year. I had to zoom up about 30 feet to get it. so the details of the tiny red flowers can't be seen.  The below is the same photo that I monkeyed around with in Photoshop Elements 10.

Yes, Schefflera grow indoor and outdoor and just about any where at all, but if you plant them in Florida they make monster trees unless you keep them trimmed.

Monet I Ain't   but if you want to see what JAKE does with Schefflera CLICK HERE.

Unusual to me ...but divine!

Hope today finds you feeling much better and tomorrow is your best day so far.

I am beginning to wonder if everything in FL grows as tall as a skyscraper. Those really are pretty. Your whole yard (and the sky) must be filled with colorful blooms.

BTW, I love your new header photo. Are you holding a baby goat?

Another strange plant to me with an unusual name. How amazing to be looking up and seeing all your different and pretty blooms reaching to the sky.
I like your new header.
Have a good day!

Wow, I had no idea those plants would grow so tall. We've had several through the years and I love them. Maybe I need to purchase one now--for a modest show inside!!

Best,
Bonnie

Awesome and you take some really great pictures. Blessings.

We call them umbrella trees, not sure why, maybe because the flower stems radiate out like umbrella ribs. They can get very big here too and the roots can damage drains and water pipes.

I love your header...is that a baby lamb you are holding?

Oh and of course I love your photos.

Beautiful shots, Sandra.
We had to remove ours because the roots were crawling under the house.

First, your header is amazing! I looked at it over and over. Feels like I'm there seeing the reflections in person. :)
This tree is so pretty with the blooms! I don't think I've ever seen one like it. It first reminded me of a rubber tree plant. I love your yard!

NEW Header! I love it!

Didn't get the full effect at first though. I'm dense. ,-)

Now, back to the post. Cool effects. And that tree would grow indoors??? Now that is a mind pic. :-)

Gentle hugs,

Love the new header, Sandra.... That picture of you with the baby goat is so cute...

I used to have an indoor Schefflera plant... It never bloomed... Didn't even know 'til now that they do bloom.. Amazing how big yours is...

Jake loves those things that fall on the ground, doesn't he????

Amazing flowers you have in Florida and you take such great pictures of them. I had forgotten about four paws, so I'm glad you sent us over there. I'm now the latest follower of your doggie's adventures.

This sounds like a plant where you stick it in the ground and then jump back because it grows so fast. I like you 'Monet-esque' version of the photo.

Who needs Monet, I like your masterpiece. Those are pretty. I happened to see the post on what Jake does with it before I came here :)

I never realized these got so huge or were ever anything other than a houseplant! And I certainly didn't know they bloomed. See, blogging makes you smarter because you learn so much!

I've tried to grow those as indoor plants so many times. They always die on me. Beautiful outside tree. Maybe I should try that. :)
