Gadgets Galore - Conspiracy Theory?

Above are my a few of my  most beloved Gadgets...

Five In One Card reader that I had to buy because HP only put 2 sizes slots for memory cards               (Conspiracy? do they own the card reader company?)

and of course my camera has the size that is not in the laptop. .... this handy dandy contraption will read all five sizes , but I am thinking they have invented a 6 and 7th size since I bought the five card reader. Plug it in a USB port and I can download from 5 different sizes of memory cards.

USB Multi-Port Gadget  ... this allows me to plug 4 USB cords into one port on the computer. Laptop has two ports, Desktop PC has 2 on the front and 4 on the back, the ones on the back are FULL and since I prefer a cordless mouse and keyboard, one of the front ports is busy...

(conspiracy theory here is, they leave SPACES on the back to ADD more ports, because they KNOW 4 is not enough and we have to BUY and install) so if they took the time to put the space there why not the port?

TO BE CONTINUED due to much yada yada yada blah blah blah of MadSnapper A.K.A as MadTyper

I reckon us oldies are doing well to keep up with tech stuff. We went to upgrade our maps on our GPS only to be told that our model is superseded and new maps are no longer available. So we had to buy another GPS which will also be outdated in 3 to 5 years. Some where there must be piles and piles of outdated tech gizmos discarded.

I love gadgets! And the multi USB port is brilliant :-) I discovered the other week that my iMac has a slot where you put in the memory card from the camera - very handy dandy indeed! :-)
Have a great Monday! At work having my lunch :)

Since I don't love technology, my eyes simply glazed over, at the sight of this post.

Glad you have those, you use and like.

Carry on.

I don't even know what you are talking about! But I'm thinking about going out and getting myself one of each.

Good grief...and to think that we actually lived and survived in life before technology. lol My problem is keeping track of all this stuff. Where did I put that last memory stick?

I am very blessed I never have to worry about getting things to work...my son builds my computers and keeps everything up and going for me. I wouldn't know where to begin if I had to get gadgets to keep things going. Good job you are doing great keeping up with it all. Hugs

I have a multi USB thingy but not the multi-card reader, only one card-slot on the laptop but it's the right size for my camera-card so no need of more just now.

Hard to believe there was ever a day when we didn't have all these dandy gadgets. Where would we be without them. I need to get one of those card readers and the multi-port gadget sounds pretty cool. I could use one of those too

YEP, conspiracy it is! Just like in the stores, 12 hotdog buns, only 8 hotdogs in a package.

I'm lost here too! My brother would know what all of this is!

There is way too much technology and less and less personality - doesn't really match exactly but it did rhyme.

Yes, definitely a conspiracy. And we WILL continue to buy into it too, right?

So far I have not needed a multiport thingy....the only thing I keep plugged in is my wireless mouse on my laptop. Since I move it around...the desktop always has the printer plugged in, unless I want it for the laptop....and it has the wireless mouse always plugged in.

Sandra, I love your gadgets. I am a gadget person too. Even in the kitchen. I LOVE your photo liner as I know I told you this before. How your head pops out, with your beautifyul green eyes. Mirrors are helpful, so you say. Maybe I will change my header, you inspire me.

Love it!!! I have 5 mini 8GB USB drives and a portable 300GB USB drive which I currently use as my back up drive in case my laptop crashes. My new HP laptop does have 4 USB ports which is VERY handy!!
